Well done Celtic, 3 points, four goals in difficult circumstances against a team that will always do well with their attacking game.

Top of the league, keep up the pressure on TFOD.

Good win and pretty much a good performance.

Boruc's save was out of this world.

Hinkel actually showed for the first time what all the fuss was about initially.

I like Robson a lot and he is a good player. And I'll be straight up front. I would prefer to see him continue at left back over Naylor. If it means no Naylor, then I'm on board. That's not to say that although, he is clearly a better footballer, tackler, crosser and passer, his positional sense is what you'd expect from a player out of position. Will cost us in big games. Well, it cost us a couple of goals today.

McManus took his goal like a striker. Overall was spot on.

As was Heid I suppose but how he let that ball run across his body for Flethcers goal I'll never understand. School boy defensive error and despite the good things he does, they are always tempered by these costly gaffs.

Broon - Outstanding. Has to shoot more. Dare I say it, almost McStay like at times. If you squinted your eyes.

Hartley was Hartley and he did get forward a couple of times to be fair.

Nakamura - Quiet, but always capable of genius. Like when he pulled the ball out of the sky. :nakanchucks: Actually worked out good him coming off.

Maloney - Time for the bench for a wee while methinks. On that form shouldn't be ahead of McGeady.

McDonald - Clapped a lot. Still moaned. Could have seen red. Did well to set up Sheridan's goal. Still way below par.

Sheridan - took his goal really well and showed some pace. Touch was a bit ropey but he is young and nerves could have played a part.

Good to see Loovens scoring again.

Overall a good day at the office.

And now that Naylor appears to be out the team.

Time for Caldwell to go. :raisedbrow:

Great post henke, pretty much sums it up for me as well. :thumbs.up:

I cringe at the thought of Robson having to play leftback though. How bad are things when we have to resort to that failed experiment four years into the WGS era?

Glad to see Hinkel playing well. I saw him at Fulham, looking so jaded it was unbelievable (he had played against Southampton the night before as well) and, to be honest, I am not sure that preseason stood him in the best of stead. Still, he is back looking a wee bit fitter and the difference in his game was evident yesterday. More to come I thing. I do genuinely feel sorry for our fullbacks. The centre halves scarcely trust themselves and neither have any pace, so the temptation for both fullbacks would be to hold from going forward. Hate to do this but when you look across the city, the main reason for me that they have had rightbacks who have played above their level (Hutton, and the shockingly bad yet looks decent Broadfoot) is down to who they had playing alongside them in Cuellar and Bougherra, both of whom have a bit of strength, presence and pace about them, allowing confidence in the fullback.

Back to the game and well done to the team for coming back into the spirit of things and bring home the three points. Without that freaky deflected goal, we might have been talking 4 or 5 nil.

Best bit of defending a post I have seen for years that Hibs player at Loovens` goal :pmsl:

Hope we can continue with the victories til the cavalry (Jan and Sammi) come back.
