This is historically a difficuly fixture for us, but I cannae understand why.
We should be able to take our new brand of attacking football to away grounds and make firm statements of intent.

3-0 Celtic
Samaras and Brown, Aiden

Boruc

Wilson Caldwell Mick Naylor

Naka Brown Hartley Robson

Samaras McDonald

subs Maloney, Aiden, Crosas, Hinkel, M.Brown

Two damn weeks to wait though :banghead: hate internationals but let`s hope all come back fit and well especially Artur. :luck:

Agreed Blair, Lets hope all our players come back from the internationals fit and well..

Also hate this fixture, ICT always give 100% against us, This was always a good fixture for big JVOH if he's fit. But Sami has to start his form of late has been superb and getting better, Also the goal yesterday for Skippy will boost his confidence big time now, Glad to see him on the score sheet yesterday, If we can maintain our good form then i can see us running out 3 nill winners.... :ynwa:

My Team for this one if Fit.

...................Boruc.......................

Hinkel, McManus, Caldwell, Naylor

McGeady, Crosas, Brown, Maloney

.........McDonald...Samaras...........

Subs, M.Brown, Naka, JVOH, Robson, Loovens, O'Dea, Hartley

Yep, always a tough one.

Makes three points all the more satisfying though. :thumbs.up:

I actually have more hope for us against them if we have the passers on the pitch than if we try to mix it as I think we pretty much have the beating of most of the SPL with that at the moment. Some of these scores we have drummed up (coupled with performances) mean that teams will set up to avoid a humping first and foremost, which is excellent for us.

ICT have that small, uncomfortable ground though, so I hope we are up for it or the points will be a real struggle. Injuries aside, I think 2-0 might be a realistic score. :thumbs.up:

yup 7 goals in three games the majority from open play all on the deck will go for a 2 goal win

oh dear

"Sestak scored his first in the 85th minute after a mistake by Polish keeper Artur Boruc who slipped, dropped the ball and offered the Slovak midfielder an easy chance to score. "

he was better when he was on the pish.

He doesnae do it very often, but by Christ when he does it, he does it properly! :yikes:

Hibs, The Filth and now this.

Just make sure we don't see another one Artur, for a couple of years. Or at least save it for Poland. :)

Watched the full higlights of that game last night, And to be hounest Artur had a nightmare all night, His goalkicks and kick outs from back passes where shocking, And his handling was shaky, Not like the Artur we all love, Just hope it's out of his system now for the ICT game... :(

All players go through this at some point, the great ones just get over it very quickly. :thumbs.up:

In the game against TFOD we all saw why he is such a key member of the side. Opposing teams will regularly be presented with chances against us during the course of a game, with the way we defend it is inevitable, but it has been Boruc who has saved us time and time again. An on form Boruc would have meant at least 1 point against them on that day. This is in no way, shape, or form, me blaming him for that defeat (there were many problems on that day), merely saying that he does pull of 2-3 quality saves in almost every tight game we play in, and more often than not, that will be one of the key differences for us being successful.

He will get it sorted and come back better than ever. Sure of that. :thumbs.up:

I reckon we will pump this lot and Brown will be the star of the day with Aiden.

Goalies have to put up with a gaffe out of a serious of saves, while the strikers miss chance after chance and are "unlucky". The big man was thinking about his Celtic and was getting the errors out of the way before today`s game ;)

This Samaras thing is a shot out of nowhere, a genuinely big blow.

Hope that we will see some of Hutchinson in the meantime. Times like these that you see the strength of the squad, and with the CL game around the corner, it is the perfect time for these lads to make a name for themselves.
