Should be 5 or 6 nil but hey ho what do we know?

Let`s get back to winning the league.

Hamilton have been hard to beat so far so possibly not the game we want off the back of that result.

Shuffle the deck WGS, get JVoH in the side and Crosas and their quality should do the trick. :thumbs.up:

As blair says, quite correctly, back to the league.

Des, I think we are actually playing miles better than at any time under WGS. At last he has found that attack is the best form of defence.

Hamilton I would have thought is exactly the game we want. An away game may have been testing more, but I expect us to hammer them despite our defence being murder.
All this would have been improved had we taken a left back during the Summer. The Centre Halfs are being dragged right over to cover Naylor leaving holes in the middle.

Ideal game for Crosas to state a claim for a starting slot every week. I felt we could have done with him last night.

Boruc

Wilson Mick Caldwell N E Other

Naka Brown Crosas Aiden

Samaras Maloney

Jan, McDonald, M Brown, Robson, Hartley

6-0 Celtic

Aiden McGeady to score at anytime and a repeat of the 4-0 scoreline that we got against Livingston would make it a happy weekend.

Been a decent first half.

Must say it is a joy to watch at times when the creative players get on the ball and move it quickly. Having two quick thinkers and technically good players in Naka and Crosas with the cut and thrust of McGeady, who, it must be said, looks much better on the right, means we can put the opposing defence off balance, and to me, this is where the general play has gone, with Hamilton not really knowing how to approach the game.

Well done Celtic.

Hope JVoH is fine, 20 secs on the park doesn't sound too promising though.

Robson at left back? Please, please please can we look to signing a real left footed fullback in the January window. Can't believe we are into the fourth year of WGS's tenure and the Ross Wallace experiment has returned, and this too with no injury crisis for the area. :banghead:

Looking forward to a few more from Celtic come 2nd half and Samaras adding to his reputation in the SPL as an unplayable striker. One for Crosas and McGeady wouldn't go amiss either. :thumbs.up:

Good work Celtic, pat on the back to all concerned, a good 3 points and nice winning margin. What was that about European hangovers?

Performances like that are what is required and the more we get players like Crosas involved the better it will be for us, I thought he was excellent today, moving the ball on quickly and without fuss, just the way we need to play. Ably supported by Naka, who, I thought, was excellent. Between them for the man of the match award IMO. probably shaded by Naka as he got a goal as well. :thumbs.up:

When it comes down to it some of the movement of players and ball today was terrific. It is so hard for any team to match that and if your strikers are in decent form then the goals will definitely come. I hope WGS walks away from the temptation of playing Hartley in a midfield four when he has Crosas available as the difference is night and day.

Great penalty save from Boruc, but the better save was from the follow up. That central defence both played a shocker for the build up to the penalty, two missed tackles, but for me it all came from them being too deep again. I am starting to think this is a deliberate tactic to stretch the game at the end, but, for me, it is needless.

Still, far more positives and a nice place to be (top of the table). :ynwa:
