* You really should deflate the tyre BEFORE removing the valve core
* Valve cores are really good at playing hide and seek, when there is a handy section of gravel nearby (Or not so near - see previous discovery)

Come on, share your discoveries with us.

On a similar theme. When using an injector to add sealant DO NOT remove the end cap on the tube before filling with sealant.

* Putting a half link in a singlespeed chain - to compensate for a change in sprocket size - doesn't work when you've fitted a narrow/wide chainring
* A half link wasn't actually required - and the tensioner can probably come off too.
* Should have done this months ago, instead of running stupidly low "Welsh" ratios, as the change is so much better for Tilgate :)

Road bike singlespeeding, even if it's through necessity, can be fun B)

Big wheels on mountain bikes really do seem to roll faster.

When it all starts to go wrong, you need a contingency plan that involves a cafe stop.

When deciding which length of item #24 you need, from this diagram...

Shimano BR-RS805 Brake Caliper

...the size in mm refers to the length of the mounting holes in your chainstay, NOT the length of the thread on the bolt.

Slightly Splattered
On my first introduction to going tubeless on my fully bouncy bike, I learnt not to forget to put the retaining nut on the valve.
After I happily poured the correct amount of sealant into the tyre and turned the wheel around with the valve at the bottom of the wheel I then watched the valve plop back into the tyre casing with the sealant…..
