Is there such a thing my cube stereo needs its pivot bearings done and looking at a DIY job but tools are £££ Rrp Bearing Press £60 plus £20 for each Adaptor. I know it can be done cheap with a socket set and some washers. Local bike shops asking £80 plus. Also anyone know where you can source bearings when your not sure on the size you need can't seem to find details via cube's website ? |

You can get all the stuff in B andQ long threaded metal nuts. And a selection of penny washers Slightly harder to line things up but go slowly you will be fine |

Yeh I've got a spare one I found during my clearout earlier, I made about 3 as had to buy multipacks. Its just M12 stud, some huge washers and nuts. It will do a standard headset and smaller bearings as long as the bearings are not recessed and the hole through the middle is big enough for 12mm threaded rod. Can bring to next ride? |
