Yes, I can get the bike in the boot of the Audi but only if its clean which only helps one way I've just had to take the bike down to South Down Cycles as whilst cleaning my head bearings decided to leak Trying to get the bike in the boot was possible but not fun and I would dread to do that after a good fun ride in the mud.Really what I want is a bike rack for my little Smart Roadster as that's the cheapest way for me to travel, the Audi is a bit of a mobile bankruptcy  I can't find anyone making one anymore so I'm watching eBay as there is one listed currently, fingers crossed. |

I can't fit a tow bar to the Audi as it's actually an RS6 as opposed to a A6 but I call it that so people know what I mean I'm a bit precious about the car so I don't like the idea of a rear mounted bike rack incase it rubs the paint and I really don't like it going in the car unless I really have too. This is fine to go to a shop when clean but I wouldn't put it in there after a ride. I would consider a roof mounted system and I had a look at the Thule system today in Halfords, just need to look at the Audi system in comparison.Been researching the rack for the Roadster today and there are not many options to say the least. However I think the Saris Bones system will fit so might give that a go. There's one going on ebay so I'll try and get that, if not I'll buy a new one and see if I can sort it out. I would prefer the Roadster for bike carrying as I try not to use the Audi for running around as it's stupid on fuel whereas the Smart is great, 17 vs 50mpg  |

At the risk of upsetting Guy... Is Bedgebury still swampy mud tyre territory or have most of the trails been hardened now. Not ridden there for a good three years! |

Chadders Been a few times now lots of gravel been put down now! So it's mainly fast and dry a few boggy bits but I will be running my summer tyres on remedy as the lots of gravel outweighs the rare boggy bit!! Margaret!! |

Trying to get the bike in the boot was possible but not fun and I would dread to do that after a good fun ride in the mud.
