It's nearly that time of year again, when it all starts with a Helmsmen at 3.5 abv and ends with Roman Imperial Stout at 9 abv!! The plan is for loads of muddy@rsers to either ride or train to Merstham Village Hall to gather and sample some of the wonderful ales from around the region. Friday 2nd November. The arrangements are very casual, everyone welcome just turn up when you can although if you want to avoid the queue to get in my advice is to arrive by about 5pm. In previous years, some people have gone for a ride first and even managed to cycle home. Others have let the train take the strain. Visit http://www.camrasurrey.org.uk/festivals/festivals-redhill Anyone interested? Anyone riding? Hopefully see you there |

I'll be there, and I'm off that day, so I'll be up for an afternoon pre-beer ride. Alex |

I may have the day clear too!! Up for a ride, not sure if it's best to ride, put the bikes away and train it over or ride there again. Anyway, I'll look into the train times - thanks Rich. |

Hi Rich, I'm trying to be sensible and not ride tomorrow, after whacking my shoulder in St Lens Tues night. I'll be there for 5-ish though for the beer. Alex is planning on riding still last I heard... |

I plan to arrive from work at about 4:45 too.... no riding today, but for the last two weeks I have been riding a Brompton as part of my daily commute (starting to get fit after Games 2012, when it was all work no play). Umm, small wheels and beer, not a good idea! Looking forward to end the night with Burton Bridge Thomas Sykes 10.0% Strong Ale. Whoopee! See you later Mike |
