Hi everyone!

This months Club ride is fast approaching and I'm pleased to announce a return a favourite haunt of Sussex Muddy@rse, the Surrey Hills.

Posted Image

When: Sunday 30th Sept, 10 for 10:30 roll
Where: Meet at Walking Bottom Car Park, Peaslake . clicky for map

What: approx 4 hours of wonderful Surrey Hills trails to include singletrack favourites such as Parklife, Telegraph Road, Summer Lightning, and the ridiculously good run all the way down to Wootton. Optional additional singletrack descent at the end (Barry Knows Best) to send us home on a high :D

The route is predominantly woodland singletrack, and has a slightly higher technical content that South Downs rides. We'll be warning of any particular technical features, and all tricky bits will be walkable/avoidable. Its fantastic riding, and well worth the journey.

No food stops planned, so come fuelled for the day. Peaslake stores would welcome your custom if you need to buy something for the ride beforehand.

As usual, we'll bring the tea and coffee for after the ride, you bring some cake to go with it.

I've booked some decent weather - cross your fingers (n.b. ride will go ahead even if its raining).
Two of the featured trails have had maintenance recently, so should make for fun riding whatever the weather :)

Look forward to seeing you there - who's coming then?

Hi Rich

As it still feels like someone has unzipped the skin around my ribs and back....poured a handful of broken glass in.... and then zipped me back up , I will give this one a miss..(again!)....not a very good record of club rides this year Im afraid..but thanks for all the effort you guys put into these.

Have a good one...I will be back!! (said in best Arnie voice, whilst trying not to wince at sudden movement)

Continued healing vibes your way - loving the painful description of your injuries :o

Hope to see you on the trails soon.

PGodwin - great stuff - yes, its the large car park up the lane past Pedal and Spoke. i.e. past the church and village hall and its on your left.

Sadly I'm unable to join you. I shall be off the bike until the end of the year due to broken shoulder and elbow. It is now confirmed that I can be foolish/unlucky off the bike as well as on it!

Enjoy the ride.
