A heads up as a few people expressed an interest in riding the course. It isn't open to the public, but you CAN ride the course in all its glory as part of a guided/coached four hour session for £45. http://www.essexlegacy.org/olympic-venues/...in-bike-course/ |

What a joke! Just open it. You can fly out to France and ride world cup downhill trails with no helmet on a penny farthing and no one would actually stop you. It's not an Olympic legacy its another money making scheme. It should be totally open and free to all. It's not even that technical! |

@Chris, agreed but - They can't open it as many Brits lack any form of common-sense, so imagine it! Every tom, dick and harry would rock up with their "piece of piss init" attitude on and get injured. Following on would be legal action as to why it was allowed and all that compensation BS. In France the non-skilled know those routes are way off limits and if they do and fall off then it's their fault. Different here. Council cant risk massive liability/injury payouts. Thus, sensible people (like us  ) are restricted. |
