Right so, I may end up with one of these through insurance. I personally think they are taking the p**s if they are trying to compare a Coiler to this Camber but whatever I could always sell it. Is it a decent bike? It much more XC orientated with 30/40mm less travel than my Coiler/air had. But we'll see. http://www.evanscycles.com/products/specia...ery=specialized |

Can't really say what a Camber will be like as I've never ridden one, but you can't go too far wrong with a trail bike from a big manufacturer - probably all built in the same factory in Taiwain anyways If you are still doing most of your riding round Cannock Chase then it'll be pretty good, unless Cannock has changed massivly then there isn't anything a 120mm trail bike wont cope with, plus it'll be more than enough bike for the Downs/Friston I'm not sure if it was a Camber, but I saw a guy in the Alps making his way down one of the downhill tracks on a short-travel Specialized, and not going too slowly either! Sorry to hear about the Coiler, hope they catch whoever stole it |

Direct line. Though they didnt say it had to be that one but I couldn't just choose whatever because they kept changing the 'budget' I don't really understand how with an insurance that is up to £1000 I ended up being given a £2700 bike Our (my dad was dealing with them) argument was that the Camber was not anyway near an equivalent bike. It's an XC trail bike no an AM/FR bike (depending on how you built it) They agreed and asked me to suggest an alternative. I then found a Stumpy for £100 more than the camber. They came back with "its the same geometry as the Camber, will look for something" Came back with the Jeykll 4 I looked it up and decided to say yes. Looking back I've found a Remedy 8 for same price as the Jeykll on Evans (which is where they were telling me to look and wheelies.com) So meh.. Ah well it could be good? |

And if I don't like it after a few rides. I'll just sell it and buy a remedy! |
