Ah ha - I see. I did wonder if I had the right bike... Here's the blurb on the Reign. Sounds much more up your street (or down your rocky chute)

"IN THE FIERCE WORLD OF AGGRESSIVE ALL-MOUNTAIN RIDING, STUFF HAPPENS AND IT HAPPENS FAST.
BE READY FOR ANYTHING.

If you’re going to bomb wicked steeps and stick big drops, you better trust your ride. No suspension has proven more trustworthy than Maestro.
With 6.7 inches of cush travel and an all-new, incredibly lightweight and stable frame, think of Reign X as your all-mountain security blanket."

aha thats the beauty,i've swapped the bar and stem, cos the Race Face stem's rise was too tall and i prefer the Sunline V1 bar /stem combo cos it keeps the front end down and gives more front end Grip
popeye :-thats what they are made for my friend

and for Guy:- which tyres, do i keep the Kenda's on or should i put on the Scwalbe BigBetty freeride tyres on.......decision's decision's

What are they hobbz, Nevegals!!? If they are I got them on the Remedy and at about 30psi they stick like *"*& to a blanket!! I very impressed, side wall the only weak point in my opinion.

It'll never get muddy; the mud will ooze away from the front wheel in terror as Hobbz approaches, lest he plummet from the heavens and smite the ground!

i shall part the mud as Moses parted The Red Sea........as i hurtle head first down the trail, rendering many a ground dwelling animal dead, maimed, homeless or all three
