LOL!

Actually we've just finished dinner with the local guys we're working with. They're really good company and a right bunch of characters. We've been "challenging" and they've "learnt a lot". I think that translates to us being a right royal pain in the @rse!

Looking forward to some bike-based fun this weekend :)

Mandog and all,
Yep - just turn up. We"re a friendly bunch with a mild cake obsession!
The route will be about 20 miles at most - a mixture of best singletrack and non tecnical tracks to recover!
We'll pick and choose on the day as the conditions have been "moist".
Look forward to seeing you there

9 miles took me 1hr 45 minutes last night on the south downs and through friston, at times I think "The Bucket" weighed more than "The Beast" and had tractor tyres fitted. NOT NICE!

Yep just turn up Mandog. Just bring a helmet, and a few snacks like nutrigrain or cereal bars to keep you going :)

And looking out the window, a coat!

An inflatable dingy might be useful too

I had an idea actually. That if you put your bicycle on top of said inflatable and attached a couple more cogs a drive shaft and propeller. Could you then not ride a dingy?

(Hide behind tree)
PS is there a water specific tire we should know about?

More than likely we'll be starting from the car park on Walking Bottom  Here. It's the usual meet point (as shown in the meet point thread)

Meet at 10am, for a 10:30 departure.

Looks like there will be some new Muddy@rses tomorrow - very muddy, probably!

I will unfortunately not be joining you all tomorrow :(. Shame when my bike is riding like a dream, on the roads anyway. But I just don't got the energy for a full ride after a week doing nothing :(

Have a good one all

Bit OT...has anyone got a compression gauge/tester that I could borrow at Sundays ride? Got a poorly Punto to diagnose. Can offer a stack of Singletrack mags as a thankyou :) (they are available to anyone who wants them anyway)
