Hey all, Seems like a lot of new people around that won't know me but for those that do I'm off to hospital on the 29th Jan to have the metalwork in my elbow removed. Hopefully that should cure a lot of the problems I'm still suffering after my moment of madness in Brechfa. This could lead to me make a return to the muddy trails (but I think I'll still use the road bike as I seem to enjoy the pain of climbing too much). Also on the plus side, I get signed off for a fortnight after the op as well, so I'm barely back to work from the Christmas break and I get more time off. |

Bloody hell Craig . . . I can't believe how much that Afan crash has affected you and your arm - the impact it's had. . . . Good luck in this final stage of getting back to where things were . . . Only you won't be able to say that you carry a little bit of Wales around with you anymore . . |

Good luck - hope to see you back on the trails soon. It might be a good idea to post a photo of yourself, as we've forgotten what you look like! |

Never met you in my life! However you have an @rser so we're like one big family right? So I wish you the very best of luck and am disappointed that I didn't get to witness what I gather was an epic crash?

Thanks all for the wishes. I'm putting a trip to ride the Amstel Gold sportiv on hold as I'm not sure if I'd be up to it, but planning a road bike trip to the Pyrenees with a couple of people from work and guys from their cycling groups in September. Can't wait to get back on the dusty/muddy/frozen/claggy trails as well as hitting the roads. EddyDave, here's the aftermarth of the crash... http://www.craigwoolgar.co.uk/pics/elbow/ Ollie, from what I can gather I don't get to keep the metalwork. ![]() Oh, and thanks Ming, but I tried that enough times walking around in the ice the last couple of weeks. |
