Any idea what travel you have? But yeah its a good'un. Certainly better than my one was at new!! Though it was £325. However I got it for £300 with a £40 lock, £20 of lights and mudguards thrown in :D

I just looked at the 2010 spec of mine. And the sods have upped the bits and bobs! It has also gone up like £80. Ah well :(

Cool, thanks for all your advice, much appreciated. Can't wait to get going on it now - covered in mud eating cake - does life get any better?

I'm based in Battle, but have car, will travel... so looking forward to biking all over. Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

There's some good farmtrack, bridleways and cheeky trails near Battle / Crowhurst. Here is a link to my commute which passes Crowhurst.

Have fun on the new bike - looks good! B)

Hi Sara, welcome along.

My folks live very near Battle - there's lots of quiet lanes that are excellent riding at this time of year. The proper off road bridleways *ahem* will be a little moist. Gilbies farm track route looks ace as well!

have fun out there with the new bike :) Do let us know how you get on.
