Which Suikoden game has been your favorite in terms of Graphics?

I actually liked 2 the best so far, they just had such a nice feel to them. I also liked the art style for the
characters in 2.

If I were to say a second best I'd say Suikoden 5.

Suikoden II's graphics are better than I, but II's towns and the color is just really plain and dull. I really liked Tierkreis's background sprites, they were very nice. I would say that Suikoden V has the best graphics, but I and II also have really good graphics for 2D I also really like Suikoden IV's graphics. I may have liked IV's the best when it comse to 3D.

Well all the games graphics have a charm to them, I will honestly say that I dislike the FACESETS in Suikoden 1 (for the most part) and the chopppy graphics, but I did like all the bright happy colors they used like a lot of yellow, purple and red and such.

Suikoden 2 I enjoyed the graphics, I think the reason also it feels like a fantasy setting and for a 2D game nice. I also love the character sprites and facesets the most. Also this game still remains to have some of the best Magic and Battle animations in the series (In my personal opinion)

Suikoden 3 was the first 3D game and for it's time had lovely graphics. The monsters were really well animated and the characters look cool. I found the towns very bland in this game however.

Suiko 4 had the most boring set of colors, that said I loved the clothes everyone wore and the fact that I could walk around in first person view (I miss that feature!!!!)
The world map was awful, though, I can see how animating an entire unique ocean would be hard!

As Hotspot says, Suiko 5 has the best, it's colorful there is A LOT of detail to towns and characters and some really nice clothes and battle animations were decent also! I was happy to see the 6 person parties return, and I like how the characters pull their weapons out like in 4.
The thing I DIDN'T like with this game, was sometimes the camera angels ticked me off and I also found that
the battle animations were not as good as they could of been.
Oh, and the world map is lovely, it's huge as heck too! D: XD

Tier Kries by far had the best backgrounds and the character's when they talked got full portraits! I liked the kinda old school character designs and such. Again I found the battle animations very meh.

I do agree, I think Suikoden II has some of the best rune animations. Although I love the character face images of the first suikoden. XD
