Admin of Suikoden Posts: 467 Group: Leader Member #103 Joined: May 27, 2008	Put down ONE character from each series you couldn't do without! This is not who your favorite is, but more who is most useful to you in battle and wars. Suikoden 1: Cleo Only magic user who has high enough defense that I can put her in the front row (If I wanted to) Suikoden 2: Chaco His status get higher as you level him up and since you get him early in the game you have enough time that you can level him up without going out of your way to much. 3 Rune slots and great magic ability and attack. Suikoden 3: Sgt. Joe, Yep The good ol duck man! The reason I have him down is because he has good magic and GREAT attack power, in the war battles he was one hit KOing half the enemies he came across near the end. Suikoden Tactics: Kika Can't die in battle, her Falcon rune is a MUST in many battles and she was one of few characters who I could have charge right into battle without worry. Plus you get her very early in the game. Suikoden 4: Kika Like in Tactics her Falcon rune is valuable, her stats are decent and you get her very early in the game. Suikoden 5: Lorelai and Jeane I have only played through this game from start to finish once, but I found Lorelai and Jeane in my party a lot.

Wind rune Posts: 92 Group: Recruit Member #110 Joined: September 26, 2008	I just finish Suiko 1&2, and still in proccess of Suiko 4&5, so I will answer the 2 first ^^ Suiko1: Alen, Grenseal and Fliik when they were available. The pretty boy attack was cool, and their single attack not bad. but before I fight Teo, I often bring Pahn to level-up him, so he not easily lose when duelling. Suiko2: Camus, Miklotov, and Flik when available, for the same reason, Warriou attack. plus, Flik is a character that good both in direct fight and magic. Camus with his rage rune, and Miklotov as extra XDD

Trickster Posts: 2,013 Group: Leader Member #1 Joined: March 11, 2007 Favorite Suikoden Suikoden 2 or 5 Favorite Chrono Chrono cross	DOOD i didn't know about this topic, how strange. but i usually use my favorite characters all the time and do find them useful. Suikoden 1= Cleo ( good magician and attacker), meg (good attacker), kwanda (good attacker and damage taker). Suikoden 2= Millie ( great magician). Suikoden 3= Thomas ( good attacker and useful when in need of magic), Mel (great attacker and magician). Suikoden 4= Kenneth ( great attacker and magician), Paula ( her overal stats a very balanced and makes a good mage), Rita (good mage), Mitsuba (good attacker and damage taker). Suikoden Tactics= Rita (good Attacker). Suikoden 5= Faylen (good attacker and useful mage), Lu ( great attacker and her mischief rune can be useful against numerous enemies), killey (great attacker, magician and user of the kite rune). Posts: 160 Group: Sargeant Member #31 Joined: May 12, 2007	There really isn't just one character I can put down for each game, so it'll be hard deciding which one. Suikoden I: Viktor. Probably my favorite character from the series and a character that will last you from the beginning to the end of the game. Suikoden II: Viktor for the same reasons as before. Suikoden III: Besides the main three, I think it would be Fred. He has great defense and attack. Suikoden IV: Kika. Awesome character, great stats, and her falcon rune does loads of damage. Suikoden Tactics: She's still a major damage dealer.

Bearer of the Bright shield Rune Posts: 1,415 Group: Leader Member #5 Joined: April 7, 2007 Favorite Suikoden suikoden 2	Suikoden 1: Kai,i just love the pupil/teacher combo he does with Tir,i let them use it to kill all the enemies and level up all the other 4 characters in the party. Suikoden 2: Flik and Viktor their cross attack is cool to use. Suikoden 3: I basically like the regular units each character's pov has. Suikoden 4: Kika,she is amazing. Suikoden Tactics: Kika again for the same reason as part 4. Suikoden 5: Lyon,she works so well with the prince.
