Admin of Suikoden Posts: 467 Group: Leader Member #103 Joined: May 27, 2008	In all seriousness, relationships between characters that are "more than friends" are quite common, although mostly hidden in the Suikoden world, or characters who like other characters as well (Such as Sasuke and Kasumi). Here are a few I'd like to critique. Prince>>>Lyon The two have been friends forever and trust each other a lot, they both share rare runes (Dawn and Twilight) and the Prince would do anything to protect her and she would do anything to protect him. Sasuke>>>Kasumi Umm this one wouldn't of worked, first of all Sasuke is 13 and Kasumi is in her 20's and second I feel Ninja's shouldn't get into complex relationships (See Naruto, it doesn't work!!!) Nina>>>>Flik No, this wouldn't work ever. Age differnce is clear cut and Flik was droven crazy by her, on a good note she owuld make him lunch and do his laundry for him. Riou>>>>Ellie This should of been, seriously they are a match made in heaven, Ellie and Riou are both confedent, kind and shy people and are around the same age. Sierra>>>>Nash There is high speculation these two are married now (Happened after Suikoden 2 and before 3) if so I feel it's a good one, having played Suikogaiden I know these two could work, the only thin about Sierra is that she is very bossy and demanding of Nash but he is carefree and I don't think he's mind. Teresa>>>Shin Shin is a loyal bodyguard of Teresa, the connection was clearly there and Teresa could of used his support while leading Greenhill, to bad he left and all. Apple>>>>Sheena Around the same age, and they are both funny together, however Apple is WAY serious and Sheena is...well a total opposite of Apple. Still I think it could of worked if they tried hard enough.

Kasumi seemed to have feelings for Tir McDohl,she might thought of Sasuke like a little brother instead. Nina was a typical teen girl crushing on an older man,i think i read in the suikogaiden thing she also did the same thing with Nash,i could understand either Flik or Nash being uncomfortable with a teenage girl pestering then. Riou and Ellie the circus performer could've worked,i could see the circus trio travelling with Riou,Jowy,and Nanami after suikoden 2. Nash and Sierra the way Nash discribes his wife in suikoden 3 i think Sierra fits it quite well. Shin would've been a nice match for Teresa. I think Sheena is too much of a playboy to actually setttle down and marry anyone,Apple seem more interested in increasing her knowledge in military strategy to give any kind of relationship time to work. Cedric and Rachel it seems they had feelings for each other,which explains why Cedric continued his eat and run thing just so she'd continue the pursuit. Belcoot and Maria the innkeeper,i wonder how this turned out after suikoden 5? Andarc and Seneca, i could see she had a thing for him but who knows if Andarc had any clue to it though.

Oh yes, I thought I added that one <_< These two were a great couple, unfortinite what happened to them. Jowy and Jillia Blight was another interesting one, although Jowy clearly had feelings for Jillia it's hard to say if Jillia felt the same or was forced to marry him. However that scene near the end between them seemed to show she did have some feelings for Jowy. Geddoe and Queen, I could see it working, the only thing is Geddoe has that true rune so she's get all old and he'd still be young. Chris Lightfellow and Salome, I'm certain he has a crush on her, or at least relaly clsoe feelings for her, they are very close friends and he was crushed when she left with Nash.
