CHAPTER ONE: Chrono & Marle's daughter. At the tender age of 15 Marina knew that her parents had saved their planet from getting eaten by an alien creature they called Lavos. She heard Aunt Lucca tell he the story so many times she thought she would scream if she heard it once more. A little girl w/ blond hair came running into the room. She smiles looking to Marina. The little girl says: “Do you know where Lucca is??” Marina says moving out of the chair she was sitting in: “Nope, I don't care to know where she is either!! All I hear about is those stupid stories from the past. Boring!!” “But I like to hear the stories! I like to hear about Frog being a handsome Prince, & Ayla being a queen from the distant past! Don't you like the stories??” Marina says, looking straight into the little girls face: “No Kid, I hate those long boring stories! All they are is just stupid history lessons! I am outta' here!!” Marina left from the house as Kid looked on. As the sun slowly set Marina had just barely left from the house when everyone returned back from their walk. They all then went to go into bed.. As Lynx & Harlie then entered the house to then burn it.. Marina had a tree house away from Aunt Lucca's house. She climbed up into the tree house & then snuggles into the bed she made w/ hay. To then fall asleep. *Morning* When Marina woke up late in the afternoon she knew something was wrong. Usually she was waken up really early by her Aunt Lucca. She rolled out of her hey bed to then stretch she then slowly started to get ready to head to where her Aunts house was. She slowly climbed down from the tree house to see Kid asleep at the bottom. Crossing over to her she turns her around to shake her awake. Kid slowly awakens to then look to her blankly to then cry suddenly on her left shoulder.. "What happened?? What's wrong?" Marina asked pushing Kid away from her to look to Kid's eyes full of tears. Kid says shaking her head: "Aunt Lucca's house was burned down last night! What are we gonna do?!" Marina was taken aback, her Aunts' house burned down? How? But whom? It seemed impossible.. She pulled away from Kid to then start running towards Aunt Lucca's house. Kid shouts: "No! Don't go!! There's nothing there!! I'm not lying!!" But regardless Marina couldn't bring herself to believe Kid's words. She ran towards her Aunts house past her grandmothers house, past her mom & dad's house.. Over a hill to the left was her Aunt's house.. As she ran towards the house he heart kept pounding in her chest. Kid had to be wrong she was hoping beyond hope that the moment she came up to the top of the hill she'd still see her Aunt's house still intact.. But the moment she reached the top of the hill.. She stopped in her tracks. The house was gone, replaced by black soot & burnt pieces of the house around where it used to stand. Her hands went to her face as tears welled up in her eyes.. She stood there for a moment as she took it in.. Her Aunt's house was gone now. She then looked away to then ran towards her home.. She entered her house & it felt sorta empty.. Still she felt compelled to shout: "MOM! DAD! Are you here?!" Her grandmother came down the stairs slowly. She stopped on the last step to look to her grand daughter & says: "Your mom, dad, & Aunt all died in the fire that happened last night.." Marina then felt her knees fall out from under her as she then knelt down to the floor in full grief wailing & crying.. The door behind her opened to show Kid in the doorway. Marina's grandmother crossed over & then lead Kid into the house. "How?" asked a bewildered Marina as she was kneeling on the floor.. "Why?? What did they ever do to any one?" Marina's grandmother just looked away with tears in her eyes as Kid just looked on.. CHAPTER TWO: Marina's conviction. A month after her Aunt's house had been burned down Kid had decided to leave to go off on her own.. She didn't blame her, if she could she would've gone away on a journey herself.. She looks at her mom & dad's house one last time as she then looks through her food stuffs. She was going to go see some one whom knew her family very well, Melchior the blacksmith... Cool fanfic. i like how it intertwines with both chrono games, it's interesting to think what may have happend right before and after the house was burnt down. |

Please tell me the answer, is fate unchangeble? even at his most powerless man's existence is never without meaning. What was the start of all of this? When did the cogs of fate begin to turn? Perhaps it is impossible to grasp that answer now,from deep within the flow of time. But,for certainty,back then, We loved so many,yet we hated so much,we hurt others and were hurt ourselves.... Yet even then, we ran like the wind,Whilst our laughter echoed, under the cerulean skies...
