When you get to rank d in the quest guild one of the missions is to help rachel catch cedric in merseto. You can only use two characters plus rachel helps you, it seems that you have to use the boats to ambush him, if you look at his affinity its wind, but when he joins you its lightning! it must mean that they made him wind so you can use kyril's rage sword rune or affinity beads on cedric to hurt him in the battle without killing him, very interesting and smart thing for konami to do. I used the rage sword rune on him this time and i hurt him but i forgot you have to hurt him much more, then i caught a boat and kyril beat the poop out of him.
	Please tell me the answer, is fate unchangeble? even at his most powerless man's existence is never without meaning. What was the start of all of this? When did the cogs of fate begin to turn? Perhaps it is impossible to grasp that answer now,from deep within the flow of time. But,for certainty,back then, We loved so many,yet we hated so much,we hurt others and were hurt ourselves.... Yet even then, we ran like the wind,Whilst our laughter echoed, under the cerulean skies...

Bearer of the Bright shield Rune Posts: 1,415 Group: Leader Member #5 Joined: April 7, 2007 Favorite Suikoden suikoden 2	I believe Cedric was wearing something that changed his affinity to wind from lightning,i usually use a character who can ride a Kangacorn and take a shortcut across the back,destroying a couple of boxes in the way and wind up blocking the goal area from Cedric and beat him and get him and Rachel to join the group. This kid must learn that dining and dashing is wrong,hopefully he doesn't get killed by an angry mob sometime in the future after suikoden tactics ends,he should be asked to pay for his food first before they serve it to him.
