Please tell me the answer, is fate unchangeble? even at his most powerless man's existence is never without meaning. What was the start of all of this? When did the cogs of fate begin to turn? Perhaps it is impossible to grasp that answer now,from deep within the flow of time. But,for certainty,back then, We loved so many,yet we hated so much,we hurt others and were hurt ourselves.... Yet even then, we ran like the wind,Whilst our laughter echoed, under the cerulean skies...

I like this game very much it just wasn't as great as it's previous games,the sailing was a nice touch so is the tropical setting it's in. |

5 The first part of IV is really good. There's conspiracy, fighting pirates, sailing, and the plot is set up to be a good one. Four people battles were nicely done if you ask me, even though it deviated from tradition. I liked having collective items instead of individual inventories. Sadly, after getting exiled, the game takes a turn for the worse and never really recovers. The game gets boring, nothing is all that difficult, the strategy battles are a joke, and the story is very loosely put together. You can't sell items on your ship, meaning you have to dock or warp to someplace else if you have too much junk. Many characters were just plain useless and some were just blatant copies of each other in terms of everything but appearance. Recruiting was kind of boring and repetitive. However, unlike others, I didn't find sailing especially grueling. Compared to many other games, this one is not bad, but compared to the other Suikodens, it falls short of several expectations. |

I rated it 6/10 because i didn't think the story was that great they could have done done better than that. The graphics were cool and so was the battle system. |

good storyline and battle system at sea but the game kinda rubbed me the wrong way sadly it was short they could've made it abit longer |

Many had issues to begin with, as soon as they finished the game. Saying that it was boring and the graphics were cheesy. I do not believe so, there might have been something lacking, but it still portraiyed what it was suppose to: Another destiny involved with a True Rune, conflict sparks up, and lives are drawn into its web. Sigh...it seems that we cannot please everyone the way we want to. I also sensed that stagnation just watching the opening movie. And then the game itself; I wasn't actually satisfied with the turn of events that led to the ending. Lazlo deserved better than that, the game musn't end the way it did. I needed more answers. |

I voted 8, I think. Even though I said those things. My friend kinda found the way they run a bit funny. I can't stomach the things my companions say. Because it's very embarrassing. Today, I encountered another person saying that Suikoden IV was his least favorite. Saying that he needed more and that he wasn't satisfied with the game. He seemed quite displeased. (And I wasn't happy with that.) |

I can only give this game an 8 for 2 reasons... 1) Four people party and no back row was balony! 2) Poor Storyline compared to the others. 3) sailing endlessly for hours in a barren ocean with like 8 rocks in it and stupid invisable walls. Other then that I thought the game was great, the characters were once agian good IMO, I LOVED living on a ship that was awesome, recruiting was fun like usual, some decent minigames, the silly Nay-Kobolds, New Game + and the ability to skip battle animations. It is however the worst Suikoden game there is, not to say it isn't a good game stand alone. |

I know they're hard to find and the ones you do find are incredibly expensive, but you should definitely play the first two if you get the chance SuikodenMistress. Anyway, I gave Suiko4 a 7. |
