Like a knife through flesh Dran's personal ship gracefully sliced it's way into the Iridonia system. Opening his eyes after his trance he ground his teeth. In front of him was his long forgotten home world, a place he held in low regard despite the prime location it held in hyperspace lanes. It would put up little resistance if he sent the entire fleet knocking at their doorstep, but why pour salt in the wounds of your future armies when you could make them believe joining you is the correct choice?

Touching the console in front of him Dran sent a message to the planet below him, “Hello. I am Dran Mohebbi. I am expected.” Dran was never very good at making a message seem longer then it had to be.

“Please follow the coordinates being sent now.” The comm sprung to life for a moment. The voice was gruff and almost angry. Something that Dran almost smiled at. It was so hard to find people in the galaxy that took that much care in trying to sound scary to people they have never come face to face with. It was a rare talent these days.

Following the perfect directions to the meeting place with the Zabrak, Dran entered the atmosphere of the harsh planet. Some a horrible planet to grow up on, it was no surprise that the Zabrak people got off of it the moment they could. This planet was all but dead, which strangely enough gave Dran what he needed to convince the people back to the side of the Empire. The supplies he could give them in return for there obedience was one of his best hands against the people he called his own.

Setting his ship down on the landing platform, Dran took a deep breath before opening the hatch to his modified transport. A sweltering wave of heat met his face as his climate controlled space became unsealed. Immediately Dran felt his face begin to sweat, reminding him of why he once vowed he would simply blow up this planet to spare everyone from its horrible atmosphere.

One step after the other brought Dran closer to those waiting for him at the loading platform. His eyes showed a sliver of dark power behind his mask as he came closer and closer scanning the men for weapons. His mind actively suppressing his power with the force, he would keep his status as a force user to himself for now.

Game Master Post:

Kaysil Verwood stood before the rest of the Zabrak, watching the figure approach. She had recently returned from the death and chaos that had once been the capital of the Republic and Empire. The images she saw there still haunted her and she quickly forced those out of her mind. Now she was one of the leading members of the new government on Iridonia, and thus out here to meet with this Zabrak of unknown origin.

Once the Zabrak got up close Kaysil nodded. "Welcome to Iridonia, I am Kaysil Verwood of the Zabrakian Government. We received your message for this meeting and are willing to discuss anything that you wish at this time."

As she said this, the members of her guard detachment looked over the cloaked figure and stood ready to rush in a protect the former Senator.

Dran nodded to the security personnel, nothing but weak and pathetic fools if he gaged them correctly. Of course it would not be polite to simply cut them down. “Thank you very much. As I said in my initial transmission my name is Dran Mohebbi, a native of Iridonia myself. If you would please, I would very much enjoy a more interior location. I fear that the luxury of many other planets has pampered me too much.”

Dran removed his helmet holding it at his side, giving the leader another bow. He needed to find a way to convince the guards that he was indeed no threat, but by the looks of it that would take chopping off his own arms and handing them his saber. After a short follow Dran moved into a more diplomatic location, following the leader of the Zabrak people into a council room with seats enough for more then just the two.

Waiting for the woman to get comfortable Dran raised a hand in her direction to gain her attention, “I would like to start this meeting with a simple statement which I hold above all else while I am here. I work for the Empress of the Imperial Remnant. I was told simply to expand her Empire and reunite the fractured planets again.”

Dran pauses for a moment, her emotional response was just as he had expected. “But... even though I work for the Empress, I am first and foremost a Zabrak. This brings me to why I am here. With many factions taking advantage of the galaxy as it is now there is very little choice left for Zabrak. They are in the center of valuable hyperspace lanes which many will try and take advantage of, including the Empress.”

Placing both hands on the table in front of him Dran continued. “I will not stand by and watch my people suffer at the hands of one faction after the other, and I will be damned before those that spill Zabrak blood are my own men. I am here to offer you an alliance with the Empress and her forces. Joining under the Empress will allow you protection and supplies that the Zabrak need if they are going to survive the coming chaos that will fill the galaxy.”

Dran slowed his speech giving the woman time to think about his offer and respond with her thoughts. If he failed in these negotiations then he would have to kill this woman. Such fine people needed not to be killed but be recruited if the Empire would once again hold power over the galaxy. Perhaps if everything broke down too much he would simply have to persuade her mind with more powerful means.
