Bridge, Hangman Approaching Adumar System "Our sources tell us that this world is a violent one. They tried to violently separate from the Old Republic, but failed, and had to negotiate to be left alone. From there, they have been practically ignored by the Galaxy. So, unlike the pitiful force of farmers that we scared off over Ansion, this may actually involve fighting." Praetor said, pacing in front of the group of Sith that he had taken from the Temple on a "field trip". The Sith before him just nodded in reply, not saying a word. "We shall crush all opposition before us, and take this system for our Master and our Order. Fail in your tasks, and you will not live for much longer. Head to your stations, and do not fail me. Dismissed." Praetor waved them off, and the Sith left the bridge. "M'lord, we are approaching Adumar now." The Captain said. His left arm was now replaced by a cybernetic replacement, which looked sinister with its black metal skeletal appearance. "Good. As soon as we arrive, launch all fighters, assume standard attack formation, raise shields, ready weapons, and proceed into the system at best possible speed. Let's try to avoid another Ansion, Captain." Praetor said, turning back around to face the viewport. "Yes, m'lord." The Captain nodded, turning to relay the orders. Within several minutes, the Fleet of the Shadow Hand dropped out of hyperspace, unloading their fighters, and moving into attack position. ================================================================== OOB: Centurion-class Dreadnaught - Hangman -- FLAGSHIP -- Moving into attack position -x3 Squadrons Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x3 Squadrons Upgraded S-250 Ceth Heavy Fighters - BarCAP -x1 Squadron TIE Interdictor - BarCAP -x1 Squadron TIE Hunter - BarCAP Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Jackal -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Wolf -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Z-95AF4 Headhunters - BarCAP Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Hound -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Preybird Starfighters - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Vampir -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP Tweleve Hammerhead-class Cruisers -- Moving into attack position -CA 1,3,5,7,9,11 - x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP (72 total fighters) -CA 2,4,6,8,10,12 - x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP (72 total fighters) Eight Carrack-class Cruisers -- Moving into attack position Ten Centax-class Frigates -- Moving into attack position Ten Foray-class Corvettes -- Moving into attack position |

Game Master Post With the arrival of the Sith Task Force in the space above Adumar, there was no panic like at Ansion. Here squadrons of fighters began taking off from the surface, though they seemed to not have any starships that looked like they were built for combat. A few moments later a message was received from the planet. "This is Perator Pekaelic ke Teldan of the nation of Cartann. State you business above our planet. We currently hold no ties to any Government, nor do we care to corrently belong to one. If you are here for business then perhaps we can deal.. if not please leave our planet." |

Bridge, Hangman Tsk tsk tsk. Darth Praetor clicked his tounge as he nodded to send a reply. "Ah, Perator. I'm afraid that Adumar's isolation is at an end. And the only deal that will be made is this: you will surrender Adumar to the sovereign authority of the Order, or face complete and utter destruction for your failure to comply. Life and death, Perator, is not a chance happening, it is a choise. Living, or extinction. Choose, and choose wisely." Praetor chuckled, closing the sending end of the commline. "Prepare to commence the attack as soon as we reach orbit. These fools will know our might soon." Praetor ordered. ================================================================== OOB: Centurion-class Dreadnaught - Hangman -- FLAGSHIP -- Moving into attack position -x3 Squadrons Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x3 Squadrons Upgraded S-250 Ceth Heavy Fighters - BarCAP -x1 Squadron TIE Interdictor - BarCAP -x1 Squadron TIE Hunter - BarCAP Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Jackal -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Wolf -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Z-95AF4 Headhunters - BarCAP Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Hound -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Preybird Starfighters - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Vampir -- Moving into attack position -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP Tweleve Hammerhead-class Cruisers -- Moving into attack position -CA 1,3,5,7,9,11 - x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - BarCAP (72 total fighters) -CA 2,4,6,8,10,12 - x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - BarCAP (72 total fighters) Eight Carrack-class Cruisers -- Moving into attack position Ten Centax-class Frigates -- Moving into attack position Ten Foray-class Corvettes -- Moving into attack position |

Game Master Post: As the message from the Sith was received, a full nineteen squadrons of Starfighters were now holding station above the planet. Ship sensors could also see that even larger amounts of fighters were holding station within the planet's atmosphere and it looked as if the planet was gearing up for a fight. A message was recieived a moment later. "Unknown forces, we have no ill feelings towards you but the answer is now. You have ships yes but we will not give up our freedom to serve you. Therefore if you wish war we shall give it to you, and I must say we are quite good at it." The message stopped there and the fighter Squadrons spread out to protect the planet, and any move the Sith made was to be responded too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Order of Battle: 19 Fighter Squadrons in space: 228 Unknown class Fighters, spread out in squadron formations. Unknown amounts of Fighters in the planet's atmosphere. |

Bridge, Hangman "Ooooh, that's a Pazzaak!" Praetor said almost gleefully, rubbing his hands together, "Captain! Array the fleet to recieve our foolish defenders, and let them taste our might. And I want the fleet prepared to begin orbital bombardment on the source of these transmissions. They will rue the day they crossed us." "Aye, m'lord." The Captain bowed, smiling as well as he turned to relay the orders. The Sith fleet kept its positioning the same as before, but the gunnery crews changed their focus to anti-starfighter and anti-warhead targeting. The waves of Sith Interceptors, S-250s, Z-95AF4s, Preybirds, TIE Hunters and TIE Interdictors all rushed into battle to engage their foes. However, it seemed that the most experienced pilots were the ones in the Headhunters, Preybirds and TIEs. Adumar would regret the day it opposed the Sith. ================================================================== OOB: Centurion-class Dreadnaught - Hangman -- FLAGSHIP -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x3 Squadrons Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x3 Squadrons Upgraded S-250 Ceth Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron TIE Interdictor - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron TIE Hunter - Engaging Adumari Fighters Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Jackal -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Wolf -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Z-95AF4 Headhunters - Engaging Adumari Fighters Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Hound -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Preybird Starfighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Vampir -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters Tweleve Hammerhead-class Cruisers -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -CA 1,3,5,7,9,11 - x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters (72 total fighters) -CA 2,4,6,8,10,12 - x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters (72 total fighters) Eight Carrack-class Cruisers -- Engaging Adumari Fighters Ten Centax-class Frigates -- Engaging Adumari Fighters Ten Foray-class Corvettes -- Engaging Adumari Fighters |

Game Master Post: The space around Adumar exploded as turbolasers, lasers and all other kinds of weapons shot out from the Sith Fleet. The fighters of the two forces quickly mixed into a massive battle between each other, with the Adumar squadrons seeming to be the out numbered two to one. This however did not seem to phase them at all, as the Adumarians seemed to be expert fighter pilots. Fighter duels were common place as groups broke off into their own small battles. Sometimes a fighter would be hit by the Sith heavy weapons but really they weren't doing much. With the battle on going, a couple groups of Adumarian fighters were able to get through the storm and launch their missile loads at the ships with seven of the Proton torpedoes actually hitting one of the Centax-class Frigates, heavily damaging it. The battle continued unabated. ============================================================ Adumarian Order of Battle: 19 Fighter Squadrons in Space: 167/228 Fighters still left in space. Unknown amounts of Fighters in atmosphere. Damage to Sith: One Centax Class Frigate Heavily Damaged Game Master Note: Sith ships will be in range of the planet in two turns. |

Bridge, Hangman "My lord, one of our frigates has been heavily damaged!" The Captain called out from his terminal. "Steady as we go, Captain. Keep thinning their numbers out. Have our Interdictors set their missiles to explode in the middle of their formations. Utilize our numerical supremacy here, Captain. And stop letting them get into these duels!" Praetor ordered, "Take them 2-on-1, 3-on-1. Lure them into our laser batteries. Stop fighting these fools on THEIR terms. And have the hanger prepare my fighter. I wish to fight these vermin myself." With a flourish of his cape, Darth Praetor stalked off the bridge for the turbolift. The Sith fleet continued on its advance, hammering away at the Adumari starfighters. The damaged frigate pulled back from the main force, in an attempt to commence repairs on their systems. The TIE Interdictors began to lob their proton torpedoes, as they had been pre-loaded previously anticipating capital ships, into the middle of Adumari formations, setting them to burst in the middle of them. Sith fighters began to adapt their tactics to deny the Adumari their "duels", and force them into outnumbered engagements. ================================================================== OOB: Centurion-class Dreadnaught - Hangman -- FLAGSHIP -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x3 Squadrons Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters [8 lost] -x3 Squadrons Upgraded S-250 Ceth Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters [6 lost] -x1 Squadron TIE Interdictor - Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron TIE Hunter - Engaging Adumari Fighters Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Jackal -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters [4 lost] -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters [2 lost] Victory I-class Star Destroyer - Sith Wolf -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters [5 lost] -x1 Squadron Z-95AF4 Headhunters - Engaging Adumari Fighters [2 lost] Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Hound -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Preybird Starfighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters [1 lost] -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters [3 lost] Victory II-class Star Destroyer - Sith Vampir -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters [4 lost] -x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters [5 lost] Tweleve Hammerhead-class Cruisers -- Engaging Adumari Fighters -CA 1,3,5,7,9,11 - x1 Squadron Upgraded Sith Interceptors - Engaging Adumari Fighters (72 total fighters) [20 lost] -CA 2,4,6,8,10,12 - x1 Squadron Upgraded S-250 Heavy Fighters - Engaging Adumari Fighters (72 total fighters) [20 lost] Eight Carrack-class Cruisers -- Engaging Adumari Fighters Nine Centax-class Frigates -- Engaging Adumari Fighters (One pulling back to enact repairs) Ten Foray-class Corvettes -- Engaging Adumari Fighters |

Game Master Post: The battle above Adumar continued as ships fight and pilots died. The Adumarian pilots continued to use their skills to weave in and out of formations, now moving in teams of two to assist each other as the Sith switched tactics. A few squadrons where caught in the blasts of proton torpedoes, the only problem is that most of the Adumarians were not in large scale formations thus they didn't suffer huge losses to those tactics. About twenty sum fighters did however direct their energies towards the TIE Interceptors, making them their prime targets. Another group of fighters were able to get into the screen being thrown up around them and fired off more proton torpedoes into a Foray Class Corvette, cause massive damage when six torpedoes impacted into her, knocking out her shields. The only problem with the Adumarian efforts was they were running out of starfighters, with Eight-Two fighters destroyed or damaged. ================================================================== Adumarian Order of Battle: 19 Fighter Squadrons in Space: 85/228 Fighters still left in space. Unknown amounts of Fighters in atmosphere. Damage to Sith: One Centax Class Frigate Heavily Damaged. One Foray Class Blockade Runner Heavily Damages/No Shields.
