Its surface is largely covered by oceans which is dotted by numerous clusters of islands and archipelagos. It is the only planet in the Lehon system, but it once shared an orbit around its primary star with the Star Forge, an ancient Rakatan space station and factory which drew its fuel directly from the system's primary star. The planet itself is orbited by two small moons, which one of them is close enough to be visible from the surface during daylight, covering a significant portion of the sky. Planet Background: The history of Rakata Prime, or Lehon, is divided into three separate eras; The Infinite Empire, Jedi Civil War, Post-Jedi Civil War. Rakata Prime once was the capital of the Galaxy spanning Infinite Empire which was lead by the Rakata species. It lasted from 49,000 BBY to 25,200 BBY before falling due to slave revolts, a destructive plague (thought to be engineered by a former Slaved species), and internal strife. The Rakatan People moved under ground when, because of constant warfare the planet was rocked by weapons of Mass Destruction that made living on the surface virtually impossible. Around the year 3,959 BBY the Dark Lord of the Sith Revan came to the planet looking to use the Star Forge to form his new Empire. The Empire only lasted for three years when Revan, now turned back towards the light, came back to Rakata and defeated Darth Malak and destroyed the Star Forge, in a great battle between the Republic and the Sith. The planet also saw the close to destruction of the Rakatan Species who only numbered in the hundreds. After the Jedi Civil War, the entire Lehon system was littered with wreckage from the destroyed Star Forge and the remnants of crippled vessels which had fought in the final battle of the war. Rakata Prime itself became surrounded with asteroid-like rings of rubble which made navigation to and from the planet extremely dangerous. Though the wreckage would have been valuable as a source of resources, the Galactic Republic chose to make the entire system a protected historical site which was not to be entered without permission. Eventually, the planet became accessible to the rest of the galaxy. Lehon was incorporated into the Galactic Republic. However, its true nature was kept secret to avoid creating a panic or encouraging opportunists to attempt to make use of Rakatan secrets. The declining population refused to move off-world and as the gene pool diminished, the Rakata died out within a few generations, leaving Lehon devoid of sentient life. Around 1,000 BBY, Darth Bane arrived on Rakata Prime to access Darth Revan's holocron. Upon landing on the surface, he sensed that the planet was still deeply steeped in the dark side of the Force, even more so than Korriban. By the time of his arrival, the planet was reasonably well-known, but it was largely ignored because many of the darker aspects of Rakatan history had been suppressed by the Republic and the Jedi. In a battle with the Sith Lord Kas'im, Bane destroyed much of the Temple of the Ancients. It wasn't until around 125 BBY that the planet was founded again, this time by a Order in hiding, the Sith. Lead by Darth Malus, the Sith began resurrecting themselves in the system, as it was pretty much unknown to the rest of the galaxy by this time. One surprising factor was the resurgence of a long thought dead race, the Rakatan themselves. Through their help the Sith Order began to take shape once more, building in secret. Using the advance technology of the Rakatan People and sending agents throughout the Galaxy the Sith were able to rebuild many of the crippled ships that littered the system. In 100 BBY the Temple of the Ancients was moved and rebuilt to house the new order's training. Now the planet holds factories, Shipyards, Barracks, and other weapons of War, allowing the Sith to project power once more. Csilla: ![]() Planet Information: Astrographical: (Note this planet has been "lost" to most known Species thus is very hard to find.) - Region: Unknown Regions - Sector: Chiss Space - System: Csilla System - Moon(s): Three - Rotation Period: Twenty-Five Standard Hours - Orbital Period: Four Hundred and Sixty-Two Local Days - Planet Type: Mineral Rich Planet - Planet Weekly Production: 10 Build Points/20 Research Points Physical: - Atmosphere: Oxygen - Climate: Frozen - Gravity: Standard - Primary Terrain: Glaciers, Snow, Ice - Points of interest: Expeditionary Library Societal: - Native Species: Chiss - Immigrated Species: None - Official Language: Cheunh - Government: Chiss Ascendancy (Now run by the Sith) - Population: 99% Chiss, Other 1% - Major Cities: Csaplar (capital), Ac'siel - Major Imports: Foodstuff, Luxury good - Major Exports: Nothing - Affiliation: New Sith Empire Planet Capsule: Planet Background: The planet of Csilla entered an ice age in 5,000 BBY. Glaciers covered the normally-warm equatorial regions of the planet, while solid ice locked the poles in perpetual winter. In order to survive, the Chiss People built energy-efficient warrens beneath the ice, as close to the warmth of the inner planet as possible, with underground carriage travel routes to connect the various underground sections of Csilla. The iceways were bored through the bedrock of the planet, so that they were unaffected by the shifting ice found on the planet's surface. Locked in an ice age for millennia, Csilla forced many socioeconomic and technological changes upon the Chiss, but few physical changes. Contrary to beliefs in a link between the Chiss skin color and the Csillan temperature, scientists have concluded that the Chiss’ blue skin is caused by a mineral found in the Csillan hydrosphere. Csilla was the capital of the Chiss Ascendancy, which is still in existence though is being hunted down by the Sith. It was also home to the Expeditionary Library, with Data on every on every planet, moon, and species the Chiss have encountered. It was also the birth place of Grand Admiral Thrawn. It recently fell to the expanding Sith Empire, and is now slowing being turned into a forward outpost for the Sith. Ilum: ![]() Astrographical: - Region: Out Rim Territories - System: Ilum System - Sun: One, Ilum - Rotation Period: Twenty-Two Standard Hours - Orbital Period: Three Hundred and One - Planet Type: Mineral Rich Planet - Planet Weekly Production: 10 Build Points/20 Research Points Days Physical: - Class: Terrestial - Diameter: 5,870km - Atmosphere: Type 1 (Oxygen) - Climate: Extreme cold - Gravity: Standard - Terrain: Ice floes, Caverns, Icy Mountains - Points of Interest: Crystal Caves, Imperial Base (Converted to Sith Base) Societal: - Native species: Gorgodon - Offical Language: Basic, Sith - Governement: None (Sith Military Garrison) - Population: Unknown number of creatures, Sith Military Garrsion - Major Imports: None - Major Exports: None - Affiliation: New Sith Empire Military: - Stations in Orbit: Ilum Station (XQ3 Platform), One Golan I Space Defense Station - Planetary Stations: Ilum Military Base, Crystal Cave Base, Numerous Defensive Bunkers Planet Capsule: Planet Description: Ilum is an ice world that is home to many Adegan crystals used in lightsabers. The caverns housing the crystals were long since ago turned into a Jedi temple. Unlike the cyrstals on any other world, the crystals found on Ilum will only make blue or green lightsaber blades. Planet Background: In the waning years of the Old Republic, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi traveled to Ilum so that the Padawan could build his first lightsaber. The two faced a number of chalanges, including scaling the slopes to the cave, defeating a nest of Gorgodons, and Skywalker had to face Darth Maul's ghost. In 22BBY, the Confederacy of Independent Systems attacked Ilum in hopes of destroying the temple there, utilizing chameleon droids. The attack failed, however. Following the fall of the Republic, the Empire established a base on the planet in hopes of intercepting any Jedi after the Purge whom might return for lightsaber crystals. To its credit, however, Ilum had been left off starcharts by the Jedi to keep its location secret. After the Jedi Purge and Palaptine's information purges, Ilum was all but forgotten. However, after the Purge, Master Obi-Wan Kenobi returned in an attempt to meet with other Jedi, Jedi Master Ferus and another Jedi, Fy-Tor-Ana, as well as Master Garen Muln. Later, 0 BBY, attempting to track down an informant within the Empire, Darth Vader hired Mandalorian bounty hunter Boba Fett to lead an assault on a pirate base in orbit. Fett used his personal ship, the Slave I, to destroy their sensor network, allowing a fleet of Imperial Navy warships to enter and lay waste to the pirate base, forcing out the leader, who was captured. Imperial ground forces then made landfall on the surface and wiped out the pirate forces. Currently, the military base on the planet is a Sith base, one of the early victories against the Empire, but the attack was so remote that the Empire did not even realize it. Darth Praetor suggested that the base be fortified. Taking the lessons learned from Hoth, the base is well hidden and equally well defended. A base was also established to guard the crystal caverns. Zonama Sekot: ![]() Astrographical: - Region: Unknown Regions - System: Mobile - Sun: Changes (One at the Moment) - Moon(s): None - Rotation Period: Varies - Orbital Period: Varies - Planet Type: Mineral Rich Planet - Planet Weekly Production: 10 Build Points/20 Research Points Days - Special: This planet is able to move and change position. Its north polar region, a spot of pearl white, was surrounded by an entire hemisphere of tropical jungles. Its southern hemisphere was covered with impenetrable silvery clouds. Along the equator there were several rivers, lakes, and small seas. The edge of the southern hemisphere was also covered by elegant wisps of wind which frequently broke free to form spinning storms. Planet Background: Zonama Sekot's first settlers were black-haired humanoid Ferroan colonists and red-skinned Langhesi colonists, and the living world was ruled by Magisters. The Ferroans were believers in the Potentium view of the Force, which denied the existence of both the light and dark sides. The Langhesi and Ferroans settled the planet in 89 BBY. During the time of the old Galactic Republic, Zonama Sekot was rumored to be home to the fastest ships in the galaxy. Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, traveled there to find fellow Jedi Vergere and to purchase one of the planet's living ships. Anakin bonded with a record twelve seed-partners, Obi-Wan bonded with an additional three. While Zonama Sekot was under attack from the Yuuzhan Vong (32 BBY–30 BBY), it was able to defeat them. Later Wilhuff Tarkin, then a Republic commander, declared war on the living world and attacked it in 29 BBY. Zonama Sekot unveiled its hyperdrive system and escaped into the Unknown Regions. In the following years, stories of the "rogue planet" that had once made living ships circulated among many in the Outer Rim. It was these that lead the Sith to find the planet and using the Dark Side and a couple of Sith Mages, they were able to take control of the planet. It now is a full member of the Sith Empire and is guarded by a full System Fleet. Yashuvhu: ![]() Astrographical: - Region: Unknown Regions - System: Vashuvhu - Sun: One - Moon(s): None - Rotation Period: Twenty-Three Standard Hours - Orbital Period: Three Hundred and Twenty-Five Standard Days - Planet Type: Mineral Rich Planet - Planet Weekly Production: 10 Build Points/20 Research Points Days Physical: - Class: Terrestial - Climate: Temperate - Diameter: 7,000 km - Atmosphere: Type 1 (Oxygen) - Gravity: Standard - Terrain: Forests, Jungles, Mountains - Points of Interest: Yashaka Mountains Societal: - Immigrated species: Human, Sith - Offical Language: Basic, Sith, Yashuvhi - Governement: Controlled by the Sith - Population: Unknown number at this time. - Major Imports: None - Major Exports: None - Affiliation: New Sith Empire Military: - Stations in Orbit: None - Planetary Stations: None Planet Capsule: Planet Description: Yashuvhu was an isolated planet located on the near fringes of the Unknown Regions along the eastern border of Chiss space. It was a lush terrestrial world, with a temperate climate and a mixed terrain of jungles, forests and mountains. One such group of mountains were the Yashaka Mountains in which Valara Saar, locally known as the Prophetess, took residency. One of the native species to Yashuvhu was the non-sentient duuvhal, a type of warm-blooded reptilian creature that lived within the forests and jungles of the planet. As a means of blending into their environment, the creatures had green feathers covering their bodies. Planet Background: Sometime during the Old Republic, Human colonists arrived on Yashuvhu but had lost contact with the rest of the galaxy. As a result, the planet and its people became long-forgotten.[According to documents found in the Chiss Expeditionary Library, the colonizing Humans arrived approximately three millennia before the Yuuzhan Vong War, though they may have arrived even earlier. Millennia before the planet's rediscovery by the Galactic Republic, however, an unidentified Jedi traveling near the planet in hyperspace crashed onto the surface of Yashuvhu. After surviving the crash, the marooned Jedi discovered that there were Humans already residing on the planet. According to the Yashuvhi legend, the stranded Jedi was a Human who settled with the local population and started a family. From his descendants came a Force tradition and bloodline of Force-sensitives. Along with an ancient scroll that contained a portion of the Jedi Code, a series of legends continued to be passed down until the time of the planet's rediscovery. ometime prior to the rise of the Galactic Empire, the planet was discovered by the Republic exploration vessel Pathfinder III. The encounter was intended by the Republic as a first-contact mission to discover new worlds. While the crew of the vessel communicated with the natives, they were asked if the Jedi had returned to live among them and if any knowledge of the Jedi could be shared. After learning enough of the local language to communicate, the crew of the Pathfinder III explained as much as possible about the Jedi Order to an eager audience. One such inquirer was a Force-sensitive female named Valara Saar. Valara Saar convinced the crew of the Pathfinder III to take her offworld with the hope of becoming a Jedi. Even though she learned some basic skills, she was not able to join the Order and wandered the galaxy briefly. Ultimately, she resettled in a small isolated hut within the Yashaka Mountains. There, she became a teacher of the Force to those on Yashuvhu and was known as the Prophetess. She was also responsible for protecting her planet from a perceived threat by the Chiss Ascendancy, which had also discovered the world. Initially, Saar did not meet with the leaders of the Chiss contact team. When the Chiss tried to approach her residence in the mountains uninvited, however, they were forced to hastily retreat due to her formidable combat techniques and Force abilities. During the confrontation, Saar wielded what appeared to have been a lightsaber, and the entire event was documented by the Chiss after their retreat. Ansion: ![]() Astrographical: - Region: Mid Rims - System: Ansion system - Sun: One - Moon(s): Two - Rotation Period: Twenty-Two Standard Hours - Orbital Period: Three Hundred and Forty-Four Standard Days - Planet Type: Agricultural Planet - Planet Weekly Production: 7.5 Build Points/15 Research Points Physical: - Diameter: 9,250 km - Atmosphere: Type 1 (Oxygen) - Gravity: Standard - Terrain: Grassy Plains, Hills - Points of Interest: Sorr-ul-Paan Plateau, Valley of the Borokii, Kander Region, Songoquin Street, Niruu Plateau, Delgerhan, Jaaruls Street, Torosogt River, Dzavak Lakes Societal: - Native species: Ansionians - Immigrated species: Humans, Armalat, Hutts - Offical Language: Galactic Basic Standard, Ansionian language - Governement: Oligarchy (Controlled by the Sith) - Population: 25 Million (72% Ansionian, 11% Humans, 9% Armalat, 8% Other) - Major cities: Cuipernam (capital), Doigon, Flerauw, Dashbalar, Hurkaset, Korumdah, Piyanzi - Major Imports: Technology, consumer goods - Major Exports: Foodstuffs, textiles - Affiliation: New Sith Empire Military: - Stations in Orbit: None - Planetary Stations: None Planet Capsule: Planet Description: The planet had a very extensive animal life. Native mammals included the suubatar, a six-legged animal primarily used as a luxury mount, the sadain, a mount often used by those who couldn't afford a suubatar, the shanh, a feared predator that hunted in packs, the surepp, a domestic animal often herded by the nomadic Alwari, and the lorqual, the largest creature of the Ansionian plains. There were also many other creatures, like the spiky tumbleweed-like creature called the Chawix, which was actually a plant. It impaled its prey as the wind carried it. A species of insects called Kyren would often darken the skies. Another being of the planet was the gairk, a creature that would capture prey that fell into its watery habitat by fitting together with others of its kind like a jigsaw puzzle. The weirdest of Ansionian fauna was probably the ongun-nur, a huge but light flying creature that relied on the wind to travel around the plains. hough small stands of trees dotted the landscape, the world was often swept by high winds, as the number of trees was not plentiful enough to disrupt the airflow. Most species were either avians who rode the wind or sure-footed enough to remain on the ground. Volcanic vents were also common on the planet's surface. There were few hills on the vast prairies, some of them home to the Gwurran, a species related to the dominating native race, the Ansionians. Though definitely smaller, they were very akin to the Ansionians. Planet Background: In 42 BBY, Ansion formed the Malarian Alliance and signed the Keitumite Mutual Military Treaty. The planet was represented in the Galactic Senate by Senator Mousul. Ansion became the site of a border dispute between the Unity of Community government and the nomadic Alwari, which was resolved by Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luminara Unduli and their respective Padawans Anakin Skywalker and Barriss Offee. The planet was important to the Republic, as other worlds could have been drawn away from the Republic's control if Ansion had seceded, due to its vast array of convoluted interlocking treaties and alliances. The planet chose to remain loyal to the Republic during the Clone Wars. The planet was just recently taken over by the New Sith Empire, it is also known that a small Ansion force escaped from the Sith and are currently heading somewhere.. |
