A few pictures I did recently of my anthro fennec fursona. BEWARE TEH FURRYNESS! D=![]() ![]() ![]() The first was done with lineart on paper and the rest just with the round brush tool in PS with a wacom tablet. The second and third were completely electronic, no lineart, just teh pressure sensitive tablet and me awake all night. @_@ |

Yay, more artists! =D Your second two images look a bit stiff, but you seem to have a good grasp on anatomy. What Wacom tablet do you have? Mines a really old one that doesn't have pressure sensitivity, so I never use it for outlining. |

Mine's oldish, but not quite that old. I think it's an Intuos 1? Got it off ebay. ^o^ I luff it, just starting to get used to it. It took like six months to get it to work with my comp00ter because it needs a serial port that mine doesn't have. *bitter glower* Onoes, not stiff. ;o; That's probably the hard part for me, getting the pose right in the initial stages without making it too boring or stiff... |

At least you have an Intuos. Mines older than that. I don't get pen pressure sensitivity. ;_; Yeah, stiff poses are hard to overcome. Do you use shapes to form the proportions of the character? |

Aww, poor Nani. Yeah the pressure-sensitivity is wonderful, I wouldn't really care about it without it. I just set opacity and flow to the pressure-sensitivity and paint away. ^o^ I'm still not completely comfortable with the tablet yet so I can't use it for more precise work like outlining. I do to a degree anyway... I was never very good with those sketching techniques of using shapes and box guides. It's like I get hesitant because I don't know which shapes to use or where to put the lines to make a pose and stuff and then it's like whatever. x.o;; I should probably get better at that somehow... *whines defeatedly* |

It helps with poses A LOT. I suggest looking up tutorials, and getting shapes that fit the form of the area from there, or from your own mine. With useing them for a while, you can get a better flow. And you even better understand anatomy. |

Yeah, guess so, thanks for the suggestion. Don't suppose you know of any good tutorials (besides just the completely basic "You can use shapes to make pictures!" ones) that would help off the top of your head? You don't need to hunt around, just if you know of any. Or if you have an example of a pic in its sketch stage with teh shapies? That'd be helpful. =O~ Thanks jonny. ^o^ Well, yer kitteh rawks. =D |

Erm, yeah, so do I, thanks. I've been drawing since I was 5. Also, I'd prefer my real name not to be used. >_> |

Thanks, I'll check out that site in further depth. ;D Not really at the moment... I have some older stuff, mostly pencil art scanned in, that I'll transfer to this computer, but most of my art disappeared in the great computer crash of '06. *tear* I've only recently gotten into it again with mah tablet. Hopefully I'll keep making stuff soon. |

Yar, I showed that shirt who's boss. >_> Thanks again for the help! *clinghugs Nauz* Wow. Delayed fryage, eh? Yeah PC crashes are teh sad. u_u Mine was just really old and only thrown together in the first place. Now I try and back everything up often. Inevitably though this one will crash right before I back up again and I have a bunch of vulnerable stuffs. >>; |

Wow, that came out awesomely! Did really well with the shading too. There's one thing though. Remember how you tweaked the line where her back is? I tink that under her shirt, her lower back is still a bit far to the left, for the perspective. =P |

Same with Nauset about the back thing. Also, her hand looks a bit strange with it's muscles, and the foot we're viewing from behind is hard to see it's structure with the stading, but other than that, it's awesome. Love the hair and fur. =) Can you draw people too? |

Oh yeah? I figured her spine would be about centered with her tail. Thanks for the comments though. n.n~ *hugs ya both* Well I suppose I haven't tried drawing people much recently, I only recently got back into drawing and have only done these few furry ones electronically. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to though, in my experience combining human and animal has been more difficult than just one or the other. x.o I should probably get some non-furry practice in soon. |

*Shoves away* No hugs. I don't like hugs. But I would like to see some humans from you, so I can give insight on that. So get to work! *Boots* |

No hugs?! *in gingerbread man voice* You're a monster! Okee, sooo... my tablet is borked up so no drawing for me for a while. I is sad. u.u; Somebody fix it. *dejectedly pokes someone repeatedly with the broken stylus* u.u But yeah I was in the process of drawing a h00man. Though the hardest part is that there's a lot of landscape involved and I have even less experience with that. >>; |
