Maybe after I get better XD I do have some old proportions/blank-characters that I scanned before I started drawing the actual character. If you'd like to see some, just let me know, lol. Nani-Chan might be better suited to the task of comeing up with specific ones though :x I've got a lot of practice to do yet. |

Now, none of these are really perfect, but it might give you some ideas. Your best be though, would be looking up a tutorial on Google (type in "How to draw "Manga") but, for what it's worth, here's a few of mine. Female front-view female 3/4 view male 3/4 young child's eye.

That was just something I made for someone else using paint. Adolecent-Adult eyes varry A LOT between individual styles and the characters themselves. Age, Gender, physical characteristics, personality, current expression, and moral-standing (good, evil, etc) all effect what they eyes look like. If anything, here's a small breakdown of the basics (this applys only to "older" eyes): --Male eyes are usually more angular and thinner than females', whose are usually rounder, larger, or more curvy. But that's not to say there are some exceptions, such as an "evil female character" or a "feminine boy" that will break away from those little rules. --The thinner the eyes and the smaller the pupils, the more serious or 'dark' your character appears. Likewise, larger eyes and wider pupils appeal more to innocence (hence why younger children have larger eyes) --Female eyes have eyelashes; don't forget to draw them. Males' are usually very subtle or non-existant. --The closer the eyes (and other facial items) are together, the more "cute" a character is. Where as spread-apart makes them look slightly more "un-intelegent". There's usually a happy medium you can find. --Eyes can disobey all the laws if they're drawn in a "cartoonish" fashion for humor. The same applies if your drawing Chibi (Super-deformed) characters. Again, for actual examples, etc, you'll have to look up a tutorial or browse around some of the art threads here. Everyone has an individual style, so don't worry about having everything exact =P ____________________________________________ btw... ![]() That better? =P |

The new version looks better. Pfft, I tried to have a go at it, I did one drawing and a doodle and gave up since it looked...shall we say...bad?. I guess I'll try again tomorow when i'm not determined on beating lvl1 on legendary on Halo2...Damn red elites and plants not serving as efficient cover... |

Remember those two 'projects' I said I was working on?![]() ![]() =P Lots of indecision about Avelyn's "new" costume finally led me to draw her in her origional clothing (from the first time i ever drew her, which is right here: http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w304/Sw...ings/Avelyn.jpg ), with a little bit of an update since then ^^ It's been so long, I forgot that she origionally used a giant axe instead of a sword o_O;; |

MP? wassat? anyway, the new take on the origional Avelyn seems to look better than the other takes, I'm not sure why, it just seems to stand out from all of them(Tomb Raider meats Legend of Zelda). Rynk looks good to, but I'm not the art critic =P. You should draw all the versions of Avelyn in one picture. |

MP are my initials o_o it, with the 'broken circle' around it is my own way of signing my art. And wait, Tomb Raider? C'mon, Avelyn's breats aren't that big at all >.> damn horny game-developers. Oh, and btw... Tasha is NOT a Furry! It described nothing about her having fur, whiskers, paws, skirtching, licking, etc. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w304/Sw...ngs/TashaV3.jpg That link is to her own picture that I made a good while ago. There's a BIG difference between a Cat-girl and a Cat-furry >.> |

Micheal parker? Yes well emr, furry ears and tail hah lolz pwnt...damnit that was weak, I'll get rid of the signature...Yes, I admit that Avelyns breasts look nowhere near as Lara crofts, it was the top that reminded me of it. UPDATE YOUR STORY WITH THE CAT GIRL!.[/COLOR] I noticed one thing, you can see part of her right eye through where her hair goes over. |

The first name's right, but not the second >.> I'm not Spiderman's relative. Yeah, actually, that's acceptable as a certain style in anime-art because the eyes are so important to the actual character. Everyone draws in a different, individual way, and one of the small individualities that a lot of people use in their own is that thing about the eyes showing through the hair; for the people who do it, it's okay as long as the hair is any color except black (or possibly dark brown as well.) Avelyn's is blonde, so it works for her. It might look a little silly at first, but image her without the eye showing through, and she might look really creepy o_o |

Micheal Parlour? True True, I just meant the little bit that goes over it, but if it's how over people do it, then that's fine I guess. |

Stop guess, it's not even close anyways >.> But, I just noticed something about Avelyn's right boot (as in, her right, not ours); the laceing and 'wedge' of the boot are turned in an awkward angle from where they would be, in line with the direction her toes are pointing, and, of course, her shin. I'll have to fix that and rescan it later. |
