![]() I finally put my boredom aside to finish this o_o; Aueron is my most recent character/drawing. I don't think this one can really beat my FFXIV version of Rynk... but it looks good enough seeing as I haven't drawn anything for a few weeks ._.; The main thing I wanted to do with him was give him a Shield, something I don't see very often (in fact, I haven't seen anyone's character use a shield YET) and I tend to try to make my characters kinda different from the usual generic characters. But yeah, as you can tell since I am a big Zelda fan, so I couldn't resist making his shield the same shape as Link's :x |

Link's shield isn't the only one shaped like that. >.> Also, the shield is too small to be practical. His boots look like tennis shoes, and the sword looks too blunt. Also I think you may have overdone the wrinkles unless his clothes are three sizes too big. and what's with the double pants? I don't think that style works with the rest of him. >.> And the shorts are uneven. Also the cloak doesn't look like it's going over his arm. That's all I see that's wrong. : D Other then that you seem fine. Oh, yeah, and the thumb on the sword looks awkward, like it's not even holding it up. Seems to me like the sword is falling out, those things are heavy! But everything else is good. : ) |

Bringing Tessie Bac

((And if the clothes were three sizes too big, gravity would affect them too, you know! More wrinkles at the bottom with more material, less at the top.)) *flees* |

Thank god I recently got a new eraser... fixed version should be up tomorrow. Thanks Tessie... I think o_o; I gotta break this habit, every time I get close to finishing, I just rush through it and forget about stupid little things like that. I thought the shield might be big enough for its purpose (it was more or less supposed to be similar to a Charge-shield, that is, one that's used to block swords rather than projectiles), but I guess I'll see if i can't enlarge it somewhat. As for the pants, I couldn't think of any other style for them... I'll see what I can do about it, I'll play around with it some more. |

Her ear is too high. It should be below her eye. And I think the mouth is crooked. Other than that, it seems fine. |

![]() Here's another one o_o I have two more in the works, just trying to fix a few little annoying things. This was just something I did for fun (and out of boredom XD) with a little help from Nikki =P We both agreed that it seemed like, if they should ever meet up, that Avelyn and Azari--Nikki's character for TSK--wouldn't seem to get along very well because their personalities are actually pretty similar in some ways XD So, that's the result of that thought. |

Azari makes me think of Tana for some reason. Speaking of Tana, I'm amazed she hadn't joined into their argument. >.> Blah, not in the mood to critique, so you'll have to live with whatever mistakes are on there for now. I just noticed you changed Avelyn's clothes... AGAIN. Have a full body reference to her new attire? |

That's actually one of the two things I've been working on. The other is Rynk, but all I really changed about him are his gloves, jacket(made it shorter again) and the detail of his boots. But yeah, changed again :\ (God she would be expensive to buy for if she was real, considering someone wound up ins ome situation like that XD) Just felt like it'd fit her more to pass over the "other-worldly" kind of look to a more robust, practical, warrior/swordsman-ish look. lolnomoreclicheimpracticalfemaleattireselectionsftw Yeah, I can probally live for now XD but, there is one big one I should out >.< Nikki's character's name is Azira, not Azari XD sorry about that :x |

Barbie dolls are evil >.> But really that just comes from the fact that I haven't really found anything that appears Iconic to her >.< Rynk, on the other hand, always had the leather vest, white shirt, and green shorts because it worked for him, it seemed. But that was more or less because he was based from my FFXI character which I liked a lot, too. So, there's only one way to do the same for Avelyn, since she didn't have as deep of a background, and that's to play around and "dress her up" until something seems to stick o_o; |

*Rubs hands together* Alright, critique time! Avelyn's left arm disappears when it goes behind her, we should see some of it poking out behind her with how it's positioned. Avelyn's ear is still a bit to high to be natural. It should all be below the eye line, which should go through your eyes. Azira's might need to be brought down as well. Their mouths look to wide. If this had been in a more comical style, you could get away with it and make it look good, but as it is not, you can't. Looks weird, please take her mouth out of their cheeks. >.> Hands are a pain. Avelyn's hand look stiff. The right hand's fingers are too small, and her left hand doesn't look like it's in a fist. It looks likes she managed to press her fingers flat to her palm, which would not only be painful, but I don't think it's physically possible. >.> Azira's hand also could look more 3 dimensional, since we should see some of the side of her hand that's facing towards her. Azira's hair also looks like it's clay or something. O_o; You're folds are getting better. You might want to add a couple folds, and make the current ones a bit more noticeable, but that's optional. There's also no perspective on Azira's left arm. At least, I'm assuming it's meant to cross in front of her. Avelyn's forehead is also too far in and too short. It doesn't connect with the rest of her head. D: Anyway, suggestion time. To fix hands and perspective, use a mirror. Mirrors do wonders for you. Azira's hair could use with more strands in the ponytail. Doing so should fix the clay look. Look at your own fist for reference when drawing them, it really helps. You can draw backs well, apparently, 8D haha. You're proportions also look fine. Yeah, aside from those details, it looks good. You're definitely improving. |

I guess you're right about the mouths o_O; I was trying to get the effect of the "random chibi expressions" thing that shows up even in more serious anime shows (FMA, Bleach, etc) but, in order to do that, I guess I'd have to change the eyes, etc, as well to match, right? (when I first drew it, I was going to give them spiked-teeth, but decided against it later XD) I should've known about the elbow >.< I had it there in the first place, then had to fix Avelyn's hair, and accidentally erased it and forgot to redraw it :x I rush too much. Still working on the whole hands thing o_o Her left arm is supposed to be as if she's raising a fist up to Avelyn. I'll get the folds to work out better. Hair is easy, and one of the more fun things to do anyways =P forehead should be easy enough. Changed my avatar, sorry about that. And thanks ^^ I'll fix it and get it up in a little while. |
