Yeah, I know what you mean. I've actually been trying to come up with different styles of eyes in my recent drawings. Like I said before, the whole bunch I just put in are VERY old, hence why most of the eyes are the same because I was trying to get all the other stuff better first. But, I am trying to do what you said if you compare Tasha's eyes to Avelyn's. I had actually went back and changed Avelyn's eyes some, I gotta scan the update and put it on here. I know the basics of them definatly, towards why some eyes are smaller, narrower, larger, fuller, etc (Based on age, gender, appearence, mood, and moral/alignment). But uh... yeah, with that being said and/or cleared up, if there's still something I should really address with the eyes of my most recent pictures, let me know, definatly

You mean besides the lack of eyelashes? >.> Eyelashes help made the eyes stand out, and not look like pencil lines. >.> I used to do that, pencil eyes and pencil eyelashes. It looks nice to give the eyes volume, and add more back around them. I could sketch you some quick examples of what I mean, because I think I killed it explaining. X.x |

/stagger+1 x_X would you believe me if I just said I entirely forgot about them? I could go look them up on "how to draw" sites, so no need for you to show me yourself. That is, unless you really want to. Gah, that makes me so mad that I didn't even think about them >.<; I'm gonna go back and put them in right now. |

Basically x_X; Maybe I was too excited about scanning them and getting them up here to realize it? I donno, more or less, I didn't put them in because I was stupid, or they were done a few years ago when I wasn't really going for detail. (Most shaded or notebook paper pictures are ones done about a year ago or so). |

![]() Meh, this is pretty much just a sketch, I didn't feel like fleshing it out with all the little details and stuff. A basic humanoid mech, anyways, it's supposed to be in Coyote's new thread, so it stands at about 14-15m tall. Not bad, I don't think, considering the fact this is only the 3rd mech I've ever drawn, and the only one I've done this year. |

![]() I've been meaning to redo Ruby for a while, the last one I drew of her was crappy, I admit :\ Changed her hairstyle, the clothes, but other than that, she hasn't changed much. Still red hair, blue eyes that glow when she uses magic (though I couldn't do that on paper without the risk of making it sloppy, would need photoshop), etc. I did forget to add her staff in, but, meh... I made sure to put the "Chosen" insignia on her palm like she has in the story/roleplay =P |

One thing about the claok, it looks unnatural. It's waves in it are strange, and has a bizzare flow. Cloaks fold slightly different from normal shirts or dresses, so it's going to act more straight. Especially since the coak is open, it wouldn't bend into her hips unless there was something holding it there, like a belt, or maybe some sort of band inside to hold it close to her body. Also your hands look kind of blocky at the palms, and she has no crotch. >.> But I like the expression on her face, and the character's clothing design. Plus her boots are teh coolz. XD |

![]() There, and updated version of Ruby. I think it looks slightly better, I went back an added/changed a few things. Also, I used a different method to draw the hands than I previously used this time. |

![]() And this is Seth, a futuristic, genetically-enhanced mech pilot. Though, he doesn't look like much considering I drew him in casual clothes this time >.>; He does look rather plain to me though, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it, or think of anything creative to add. And yeah, I know, the one arm is longer than the other when it shouldn't be, because It took me forever to draw the hand that I just said "F-it" when I realized it x_X; |

I'm digging the way Seth's shoes came out. =P Not quite sure, but I think his ear is a tiny bit far back. I think. |

Why did you change Ruby's face? It was fine! And you still aren't getting the coat thing. The lines in coats are straighter, and the belt would need to be tighter. Since I apparently can't explain it with words, I shall clarify... through ART! http://img88.imageshack.us/my.php?image=coatoh8.jpg Does that explain what I meant better? Also, take into account the fabric. I don't know what it is, but different fabrics fold differently. And your hands are looking better with this new method (whatever it is.) |

I donno. I guess Seth's ear is just kinda like that because of the "sideburns" (if you can even call them that?) that cover it up. Also, yeah, now I see. Just another stupid mistake on my part. I'm going to go back and just re-think the whole "lower half of the gown" thing. (thank god for kneaded erasers >.>; ) And I was looking at her face when I redid her and it just struck me as her having a "do'h!" kind of expression. I don't know, I did it at night, so my booklight might have messed it up or something, I donno. I'll see what I can do about it though. Also, I may change Avelyn's bangs again, they didn't really come out the way I wanted them to. But yeah, thanks guys, hopefully my next attempts will be better ^^; |

![]() Avelyn V5 ARGH! FINALLY! /adds to the "Evolution of Avelyn" list. I think this is one of my better up-to-date drawings. Tried a new proportion style, and I guess it worked out pretty well O_o; I know Tessie will still find a whole lot to yell at me about though, so... /gets erasers ready! |

Wow, your art has really gotten awesomful! Although maybe her left forearm could be a bit straighter, and her knees a little more solid? She really does look spectacular though! |

First, what is that around her shoulder and waist? O_o And what purpose does it serve? Second, the arm that bends looks strange. It's out of perspective. Also the fingers on the hands are too thin. Other than that it's apparent you're improving. And you take critique better than anyone I've met. >.> |
