Advanced Member Posts: 863 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: February 12, 2007	01/03/00 (March First, 300) Alanis, on this day, suffered one of the most tragic incidents in history. Hundreds were killed, thousands were injured, most of the city was leveled, and the etherbelt was infected with dark ether. All-in-all it sucked. It all started as with any other Remembrance festival. Everyone celebrates so that their happiness can be used to fuel the etherbelt for the next year. The king completed his speech and began the ritual as usual. And then it happened. AS duo of evil fiends attacked the audience causing massive amounts of destruction, a third fiend assaulted the ritual itself injecting his dark ether into the etherbelt. The effects of this haven't been revealed yet but what is known is that Leo was right there and yet we all saw him faint from fear. Meanwhile our hero, Richard stopped the wizard’s evil magic even destroying an entire tornado with one swing of his blade. It was amazing. Now we are working as hard as we can to open the doors to Crimson Roof Abbey to provide temporary housing to survivors.. ~Sir Hastins.

Advanced Member Posts: 863 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: February 12, 2007	29/04/00 (April 29, 300) Leo took a crew to investigate the dark ether surrounding the island nation of Mutukua. The island proved inhospitable and hostile and it was confirmed that Asriel's forces had been there but thanks to a misconception about all magical artifacts being spheres he took a crystal ball instead of the real object he was seeking. The Necromancer at first appeared hostile assaulting Leo's teams until he realized Leo's group was unrelated to the dark ether and Asriel's forces. Afterwards a rough alliance between Leo's group and The Necromancer was worked out. Using his horde of undead he managed to repair the ship almost instantly and then get them set on track. Let it be known he made two demands. Leo's corrupted body.. and Magna as an apprentice. This is a report of the events as I have gathered them directly from Leo. But he just received word his manor is on fire and can not elaborate further. This will have to do for now.

A great treasure known as the Grandus Arcanum was taken right under our fingertips. We suspect it to the work of pirates. However, no one can be sure that this isn't somehow related to the other incidents as of late. It seems as if a great evil cloud looms of Shambala as of late.. -Lord Reinhodlt.

The city is all but restored. now the Abby once more tolls it's bells of mercy. Offering refuge to all poor and burdened with no roof at night. Many return to their homes. But let us never forget the many that will never return. The attack one year ago was brutal and terrible.. but a time comes when we must move past the past. And look once more to the future. Alanais stands, new with beautiful architecture and a more advanced city design. It is stronger with new wards and spell protecting it. It is wise, tempered by their errors of the past. It is bolder, daring the world around it.. It's good to be home again... ~ Lord Willicott

Many a life has been lost, many a heart has been broken. The island where the greatest, most powerful wizards dwell was helpless against last night's attacks. Asriel is back and has taken revenge on the land that saw him grow in years and in power. The atrocities committed by this monster have no precedent. We were as much unable to stop him now as we were over a year ago. We have no clue as to what exactly Lord Asriel wants, but the liberation of all the prisoners held within the Eight Tower is a frightening thought.
