"That is very logical." He stated, almost sounding amused. |

"I think so, too," she chimed, standing up to turn it off. She opened up the back and took out the batteries, then threw them in the trashbin next to her door. "That thing is very annoying, I swear. Now it can't do anything." |

"Indeed." He stated in a way that might've made a normal person feel incredibly stupid. |

Kagome threw the alrm clock at him then walked off downstairs. She sat on the railing and slid down with practiced ease. |

Of course, the clock was in pieces before it even got within close proximity of him. He turned and followed. He had to monitor her anyways. |

Since practically no one was up at this time, Kagome had to make breakfast herself, and she did just that. |

Sesshoumaru sat down gracefully at her table looking achingly out of place. He surveyed his surroundings quietly, efficiently, as if he were an assassin or ninja. |

Kagome cooked quietly, sighing. She'd been hoping to cook him something nice, but he didn't eat human food. . . .She wanted to do something nice for him for being so nice to her. . . .But what? |

Sesshoumaru watched her cook silently, watching her move. In his mind he had done nothing worth thanking, and besides that well . . . he simply liked helping her. Besides that Sesshoumaru wasn't nice to people doing nice things for him. favors yes, nice things out of love no |

Kagome sighed, putting her breakfast in a bowl, sitting down next to Sesshomaru. This relationship to her, she had no idea what to do. She's been with other men, but they were so different from Sesshomaru. A lot more different. In this, Kagome was totally clueless and she didn't like it one bit. |

Sesshoumaru watched her, content with simply sitting with her. He was a man of simple pleasures truthfully, of escape. He was always working, but he would be able to forget about it for a while with her. |

Once she finished eating, Kagome stretched. She loved doing things out of love, and she missed it so much. It was always so fun and she felt so pure and good inside, leaving her all tingly. They were perhaps the only times she's ever been truly happy ever since she stumbled upon the past. |

Sesshoumaru watched her limber body stretch each muscle. He'd picked well. But of course he thought, only the best . . . He watched her smiling, only she would be entertained by simply cooking. |

"I'm not perfect," she murmured, as if reading his mind. |

"You are not." He stated, with a single nod. "But you are as close." He stood, took a bite of remaining food that would have bee for her family. He smirked. "Not bad." |
