I Besides you brought up the who vs. who thing first when you brought Shane Mosley into it. The only thing I was doing before was mocking Money.
The reality is both Mayweather and Manny were scared of Mosely. I doubt either of them are now.

I just think Mayweather would win I think his defensive counter punch style would shut down manny's offense. I also think mayweather would have a reach advantage which helps his style against a guy like pacman.

I didnt realize being undefeated and setting all sorts of records was overrated. Then again they lost to the giants that is all that really matters

Normally I would agree with you, I'd normally take a counterpuncher to an aggressor, but Manny is just so fast and Floyd is getting up in age for a boxer of that caliber that I don't know if he could handle it. A few years ago, I'd probably go with Floyd but now I don't know since he now wants to go so long between fights.

I just think it would be more Shogun/Machida 2 as opposed to Silva/Griffin.

haha I love the comparison. If he waits a year or two I definatly agree with you but watching him in his fight against mosely he is still quick as hell then again so is manny so they might cancel each other out.

But they weren't undefeated. :D

Yeah they were a great offensive team but they only played a couple of decent teams that season. San Diego early on before they got going, Indy and Pittsburgh. Dallas was overrated that season, and the Giants, Eagles and Ravens got their stuff together after playing the Pats. Otherwise they played Miami (1-15 season) twice, Buffalo twice, the Jets twice, the Bengals, the Browns, the Eagles and the Redskins. Not exactly murderers row right there.

I believe Mosley just got old quick for that fight, I mean he's like 5 years older. A few years ago he'd probably end them both.

You may be right though, because once he got popped he woke up and fought like he should of and I doubt Manny is going to have to wait a round and a half to pop him like Mosley did.

I am speechless right now. How is that not a sport? Football is nothing more than senseless violence with a ball thrown in for direction and it's the #1 attraction in the country.

Boxing is great when done properly (which a lot of lighter guys can do) and if there was a heavyweight in this world that had some skills and that could be properly marketed it would make a comeback like you wouldn't believe. The heavyweights are what have always carried the sport and with the universal soldiers at the point right now it's gonna be down for a while until they retire for good and someone new steps up.

Explaining how fighting is a sport is just as bad as trying to explain auto racing is a sport. either people get it or they don't I dont bother trying to explain either of them any more. If they dont understand that is their loss.

I'm not disputing that Boxing isn't a sport because if they say its a sport then its a sport.

Punching and knocking someone out cold isn't exactly atractive to the family to go watch a nice clean boxing match either.

By the end of their career most of the boxers end up fucked up. Muhammad Ali for example. He took so many punches and shit that he's not right. I dont know what you call that condition he's in but that's caused by all the beating he took.

Personally I dont like boxing because I'm not into fighting myself. I'm of peace as Anna the V would say. lol

And I dont know about you but if I'm a profesional at any Sport I want to look back and be......Alive and well. lol

Looks to me like Mayweather is dodging Pacquiao. He's scared.

First it was the blood testing issue, in his winners interview after the fight with mosley he sais all it would take to make the fight happen was Pacman agreeing to it, and now he's dodging it cause he's not getting more money?

Fuck this pussy. Most overrated champion of all time. Dodges fighters until they are washed up.

dodged De La Hoya all those years, dodged Mosley all those years, dodged everyone that was someone until they were past their prime.

I disagreed. The Pats played a 1st place schedule and played the NFC East which at the time was THE toughest conference. When they went to Dallas I believe the Girls were undefeated too and they just went there and punch them in the mouth, but again who didn't? Baltimore with that TOUGH, but tough defense gave them a run for their money, but the Pats prevail. The Eagles just laid the blueprint on how to beat them and the Giants had a chance to do it twice and they did. I hate the Patriots, but I have to tip my hat to them because that was one of the best seasons I have ever seen and probably THE best superbowl I have ever seen in my life. The Patriots played against the big dogs and they got there at the end, they just came a little bit short and I like it that way.

They had the 19th hardest schedule that year, hardly 1st place.
