Marcos Ambrose starts on pole after what was one of the craziest qualifying sessions i've ever seen for a Nascar race yesterday. All of the fastest cars who went later god royally screwed, and i'm just really surprised Nascar even had qualifying. Either way it made for good TV lol. And i'm hoping for some more rain today :woot:

Nope. It doeswn't matter how much experience you have, if you've never been to a track before you have to put the rookie stripes on. Also there have been reports of rain in that area, i'm sort of hoping for something to develop with that

Fuck that whole god damn race. For the 3rd straight race at Montreal Ambrose dominates, but he somehow doesn't win yet again. If anyone believes in racing gods after these last 3 races there, you are out of your mind. I hate that for him. That was fucking bullshit. Out of the 5 hours that race lasted, about 2 and a half hours of it were under caution. They litterally couldn't drive a turn without crashing and bringing out a caution. It was crazy, to me that's not what racing is all about. It seems like most of the race was just them riding around. And fuck that guy in the #86, what was he thinking when he took out like 3 cars just as blantantly as can be. Either way, I just hate that. Going into the final turn I just had this heart broken feeling that Marcos wasn't gonna win, and then when it happened, I just coukldn't believe it. God, if I were him I wouldn't even bother going there next year. He'd probably wind up leading 60 laps again only to cut a tire or something like that with 3 to go

In essence Steven Wallace costed Marcos the win.

Ambrose would have cruised to the checkered had Steve kept his car straight for once. Seriously Rusty should just say well you know, we try son and it didn't take.

Yeah, how stupid could you be going into turn 1 3 wide like that. The only person that would ever try something like that would be...oh wait, Steven Wallace :shifty:

And that last turn feeling reminds me of the feeling I got on the last straight away of the 2006 Indy 500 and 2007 Daytona 500. Don't ask me why, but I just knew the guy I had been pulling for was gonna give it away or lose it at the last second. And sure enough, on all 3 occasions they lost it

Welcome to the club.

That's exactly how I felt when Gordon spun around with 2 laps to go in Watkins Glen in '07. I still have nightmares of that fucking race. lol

Well actually I had that feeling before they even got passed. Like in the Indy 500 even though Marco had a big lead coming to the white I just had this awful feeling thinking this was too good to be true and he was gonna blow it. It's like I was a physcic in all 3 of these races lol. I knew they were gonna blow it before it happened
