Okay, I'm in a sports bar right now and I'm texting yall because I'm watching the game between the Nuggets and the Spurs and to my surprise Duncan and Parker weren't in the starting lineup and Ginobili did not come off the bench as he does halfway through the 1st quarter. I just heard that Ginobili got a little bit banged up but I don't get Duncan's and Parker's situation. They don't play till Sunday so rest ain't an issue and it's not like they're playing the Clippers or Warriors, they're playing a very darn Nuggets team. Can someone elaborate on this please? lol I know nobody cares about them Spurs but it's very odd for their benching. Especially Duncan. lol |

Hey KB, from what I can tell, if you haven't heard, that Coach Popavich was just resting his guys. I mean one sports writer thought maybe he didn't want to give the Nuggets a psychological advantage (for the playoffs) if they beat the Spurs even if it was a tired Spurs team. They had to play Denver after playing an OT game against Golden State where their big three played major minutes with only 22 1/2 hours in between. That's what I saw. |

At least someone wasn't robbed by the refs. I wonder do the Lakers have a set of refs that travel with them and give them calls, or is a league wide thing? |

The Baby hit a potential game winner. Then he was blocked on the next posession by Odom and Davis fouled him and Odom hit both FTs. I was hoping to tell u the Baby won the game last night but that wasn't how it ended. |

Spurs are struggling to good teams. Pissing me off.. They're just feeding on teams that are below .500 and getting their ass whooped by the good teams. On another note, Last night's game bewteen Celtics and Lakers was a joke at the end. There was at least 2 Lakers fouls after the one they had to give that weren't called. Now the fucking Lakers have homecourt advantage for the entire playoffs. Ugh |

I couldn't give more of a rat's ass about the Lakers or Celtics but that was a great game. David Stern really did a great job on February's schedule. First off, the Knicks had a brutal homestand. First Kobe drops 61 on them and Lebron drops 50+ two days later. They finish the homestand with the defending champions and they're losing to the Celtics as we speak. Then we get a great weekend schedule with the Celtics vs the Spurs and then the Lakers vs Cavs. Great NBA schedule!! |

The cheap shots we were just talking about... And furthermore Robert Horry played for the Spurs last season. He took a cheap shot on David West when they played the Hornets in the playoffs last season. Although I think his hip check on Nash in 07 is most remembered. Now I did think he was still there, I didn't realize he was a free agent now, but it's not like he hasn't played there for years. |

Oh yeah he was with the Spurs till last year. Geez it feels like its been years. lol Back on point, Horry had his dirty plays here and there but is not like that costed whichever team the Spurs were facing a shot. Spurs have owned the Phoenix Suns since forever and the Hornets have the equalizer in Chris Paul and David West. David made questionable fouls that weren't called same goes for Chris and his major flopping abilities. (Yes more then Manu) And anyways, why did you brought all this cheap shot thing? I was talking about Doc River talking trash about how the Spurs couldn't score on them. I didn't talked about any Celtics players. Just the coach. Couldn't win for shit a few years ago and now he thinks he's hot shit. That's where all the arrogant comment from me is coming from. |

If Amare and the other Sun hadn't of been ejected for coming off the bench after the shot on Nash, I don't think the Spurs beat the Suns that time. You can own someone for a long time, but eventually they get you sometimes. As for the Hornets, I don't think that cost the Hornets the series, the Spurs were the better team there and I thought they were gonna beat the Lakers too, but the Hornets just seemed to wear them down to much and they couldn't keep up with LA. Besides I don't know if there is a basketball player or coach who isn't arrogant or a little dirty. It goes with the job. So for you to call Doc out on it because he made one remark while your own team has done much worse, to me seems hypocritical. I do agree with you however, I still don't think he's that great of a coach (pretty sure most anyone could win with KG, Ray Allen, and the Truth and some a lot more consistantly) however as a Celtics fan I'm not gonna let potshots go by without responding. |

The Suns didn't have a chance after that killer 3 that Tim made to kick the game to OT. They never recovered from that and just went down hill from there. In the Playoffs you're gonna have people all in your face and playing you hard. Dont let that be a reason for losing. As a Celtics fan you should know that better then anyone. Garnett is known for picking on smaller players and abusing them. I agree with you that Hornets wore the Spurs out and that's one of the reason why they went on to lose to the Lakers. Still Lakers were a better team defensively. |

There is a difference in picking on and abusing a smaller guy and hip checking him over a table. Everyone finds an advantage they have and try to make as much of it as they can. As for the Suns series from 2 years ago, we'll have to agree to disagree there. I honestly don't remember much of it outside of that shot on Nash, the 2 Suns being ejected for stepping on the court, and their subsequent dismissal from the playoffs while the Spurs won the title. Like I said I really didn't pay much attention other than the highlite reel on tv each night. To me the Spurs were the favorite last year everyone talked about the Lakers and Celtics, but the Spurs had played together for so long they had chemistry. |
