Exactly. Who cares who Oprah, Madonnah or Matt Damon are voting for?
I sure the hell don't. I don't pay attention to any of that bullshit. People just need to learn how to form their own opinions and stick with them.

Same as McCain being the same as Bush. If it wasn't for reporters manipulating everything and repeating all the negative quotes basically shaping the publics perception for their own agenda the voting public would be able to cut through the stereotypes and lies and see what these two really stood for. But there is no way to really know, because you can't get an unbiased report from anyone anymore.

The way I see it, it don't matter how the economy is or any of that if the country gets blown halfway to hell or our allies, namely Israel, are held hostage by Iran and what not or just wiped off the map completely. That's why I voted for McCain. Obama is far too lacking in the foreign policy aspect and Joe Biden is just a dumbass.

The way I see it both entries are essentially the same again this election. On one docket you have the inexperienced minority to gather sheep votes followed up with an older gentleman in so so health. On the other docket you have an older gentleman in so so health followed up with an inexperienced minority to gather sheep votes.

Most important thing to watch tonight: Minnesota Senate race. If Norm Coleman (R) wins, the Democrats will probably not get a supermajority in the Senate. If Coleman loses, then a Democratic supermajority is possible. (Norm Coleman is running against comedian Al Franken (D) and former Senator Dean Barkley (I) ).

Now if Coleman loses Minnesota it will first still seem like the Democrats will still be one short of a supermajority, however Georgia is the real answer to them gaining a supermajority (after a Coleman loss). In Georgia, Saxby Chambliss (R) will most likely beat his Democratic opponent Jim Martin, but not by over 50% (Libertarian Alan Buckley will have probably around 5%, not allowing either candidate a majority). A runoff will occur in weeks where the Dems will throw all their money into the state, crushing the GOP in campaigning for the runoff. Martin would most likely win the runoff, then the Dems would hit 60.

If Jim Martin wins the senate seat here, I'm moving because I don't belong in a state that elects Jim Martin.

This "change" will be realized as great after 8 years.

Right now he is only winning by 100k, and McCain has closed in in the past hour.

I know, right now it's 51 to 49.

I think McCain will continue to surge because the western side of the state where I live (and tons of rednecks) is in Central time so the polls closed an hour later than the eastern time zone polls which are a lot more liberal. I'm guessing that most of the results reported so far are from the eastern time zone part of the state.
