A little research that I did indicates that if the Warriors go on and close the series tomorrow night on TNT that it will be the first time in NBA series for the MVP of the league to go out in the first round of the playoffs. Voting ended before the playoffs started and it has been leaked that Dirk Nowitzki will be named as the MVP. Well unless they don't make to the 2nd round, the MVP announcement will be have to be made in a news conference room :lmao: instead of the usual where the commisioner gives him the reward in front of the home cheering fans. Bob McAdoo was named the MVP in the 1974-1975 and his team lost their opening playoffs series but that was back then when the 1-2 seeds had byes and they played till the semifinals. But man that'd be funny. MVP of the league and can't even make it pass the 1st round :lmao: :woot: |

Dirk was MVP? I didn't know kicking exercise bikes after getting smoked in the finals won awards. Steve Nash is still the MVP or at least should be. |
