It's pointless to mock a draft because you never know what's going to happen in the last minutes before the pick is being announced and you can anticipate as much as you want but at the end something happens and it screws your whole draft. i.e..me picking the Texans to take RB Reggie Bush out of USC. :uhoh: Damn Texans :aaron: Anyways instead I'm giving my TOP 32 players that will be drafted on tomorrow's NFL Draft: 1. Calvin Johnson: THE best prospect that has come out in the last 5 years. This guy is just an animal. Finally ESPN has caught on my drift on saying that he's the next T.O. don't know if that's a good thing or not lol But he's super quick, agile and great hands. This is what every GM would want from a player. 2. Adrian Peterson: Has been very underrated from everyone, undermining and questioning his abilities to produce, his two injuries who he suffered in college are not "career-ending injuries" and them fools who pass him up will regret it in years to come. 3. Joe Thomas: He's a great offensive lineman. He reminds me of Tony Boselli. I'm pretty sure he'll be a great player for years to come. 4. JaMarcus Russell: He says that was tailed by a private investigator 24/7 for 2 straight weeks. Nothing has come out and as far as his playing abilities? well he had THE strongest arm out of all the qb's in this year's draft list. He just has a cannon. Should work great with the west-coast offense that the Raiders run. 5. Patrick Willis: He was great in the workouts and really impressed a lot of people, he has a positive attitude for everything and he's a great linebacker. 6. LaRon Landry: He's the best cornerback out there and he showed a great career while playing at LSU 7. Gaines Adams: A great defensive end, he oftens shows moves like a Julius Peppers. Should be great for years to come. 8. Alan Branch: Another great defensive end, he has a burst for quickness and can close in in matter of seconds. Has great arms and will sack many QB on his rookie year. 9. Brady Quinn: Had a dissapointing senior year and couldn't do it against powerhouses in all the years he played at Notre Dame. But he has a great arm and has shown NFL talent on his workouts. 10. Amobi Okoye: He's going to be 20 years old and he's a bulldog. Has great speed, size and hands. He doesn't show at all that he's 20. He behaves like a 30 year old, very responsible. 11. Jamaal Anderson: Dropped quite a lot on his workouts and at the combine, if he gets that motivation once again, he can become a great DE. 12. Greg Olsen: This tight end can do everything: Block, run routes at a great speed and can catch the ball. A great, great TE. 13. Leon Hall: Got burned at the Rose Bowl by Dwayne Jarrett and Steve Smith but many people believe that he's going to be a great cornerback. He has great speed but lacks some size. 14. Levi Brown: Another great OL. The Texans might pick him and that's good. He was a former DE so he has an amazing speed and his reaction time is unbelievable. 15. Lawrence Timmons: Out of Florida State. Has the potential but he didn't have much experience in college. If he blossoms then watch out. 16. Darrelle Revis: He's VERY physical and fast. He can also be a returner. Much like Dante Hall. 17. Adam Carriker: Can play in different formations like a 4-3 and 3-4. Can adapt to any linebacking position. Has great speed and he's physical. 18. Michael Griffin: A great safety in Texas. He has the size and can be physical. He knows how to defend. 19. Ted Ginn Jr: Many people question his abilities to become one day a number 1 receiver because of his size but he can be a returner and he can become a great one. 20. Dwyane Bowe: Another WR. He's big and super physical, runs good and has great hands. He could win ROTY. Should fit great on a team like the Packers or the Titans. 21. Paul Posluszny: A senior LB who played great throughout his college career. He's just amazing and could fit great on a good team like the Eagles, Giants or Patriots 22. Aaron Ross: Another great secondary guy, can cover a guy and be physical. and also he reads the opposing qb as great as I've seen in quite awhile so he can have INTs in his rookie year 23. Brandon Meriweather: A safety who some people question his past and wonder if he could be trouble, could be a great fit for the Bengals lmao. 24. Justin Blalock: A great longhorn at UT. He knows how to block and open up spots and gaps for the running back, a great pass protector. 25. Dwayne Jarrett: He often seems like a jerk and thinks he's all that. Many people believes that he was sandbagging the combine and the workouts so that he could end up in a great team. We'll wait and see. 26. Joe Staley: Has great feet meaning that he can move and react to the blitz. His weakness is his size overall. Was a former TE. 27. Reggie Nelson: See Dwayne Jarrett minus the jerk part 28. Marshawn Lynch: This guy went from the TOP 5 to being almost last in the first round. He came to the combine with extra weight and he had trouble handling the NFL football. 29. Justin Harrell: Suffered an injury but before he was a great DE. If he comes back to that level then he can become very good. 30. Jon Beason: Undersized but he's a bulldog. Should tackle runningbacks like he's about to eat them lol 31. Chris Houston: CB out of Arkansas who had great games against Auburn, USC and Florida. He has the size but lacks some speed. 32. Robert Meachem: Last guy on the first round and this guy seems like a 1st rounder, had a great junior season out of Tennessee and he's a playmaker. Tons of big plays while he was a junior. Well there you go boys, let's see how everything turns out on tomorrow's draft. Let's see ya'll mock draft. |

so where did you steal this mock draft from? or did you take someones and move plyers around because it says JaMarcus Russell will be good with the raiders west coast offense but if he goes at #4 he wont be playing for the raiders. as long as Miami get Quinn or a decent unknown QB from the draft I will be happy. untill they get the QB position figured out Miami wont have many playoff appearences. |

Hopefully the Steelers can get Okoye or Timmons to help the transition to the 4-3 defense. |

I say the Cowboys trade TO for Sammy Sosa. Add some flair to a very mediocre draft. Besides he'd only have to go across town and he catches about as well. :shifty: But all jokes aside I don't see what all the hype is about this years draft they may have some good linemen and such like Joe Thomas, AP, and Calvin Johnson but the QBs seem like all hype to me. I know Notre Dame was veyr mediocre as a team but Quinn didn't stand out to me as anything special I mean anyone is gonna look good when 1/2 of their games are against the Armed Forces teams. Any good team they played he sucked and they lost. And Russel is the same way. LSU was a great team so he looked good. He reminds me of Daute Culpeper. He looks like him, he is the same size and he has a powerful arm and relies on it. Although Randy Moss does play for Oakland so maybe Russell won't be too far off the mark. But he doesn't really stand out to me no matter how much they try to push him off as the next big thing, then Al Davis tries to compare him to John Elway. That's like George Steinbrenner claiming Johnny Damon is the next Ted Williams. It's blasphemy and he should be institutionalized because of it. |

Quinn and Russell=BUSTS. John Beck and Drew Stanton will have better careers than both of them. |

Don't think I've heard of Beck but then again I've probably seen him but just don't remember the name. Was Stanton the QB for Michigan? |

Ok I knew it was one of the Michigan teams. Beck must of been the QB from Utah I heard one of the ESPN commentaors dogging on. He said that guy was a bust because Utah has never had a good QB except Steve Young. I say what about Ty Detmer. :shifty: |

Is not a draft :hit: It's my TOP 32 players. And no I don't copy any mock draft out there. I help a friend from scouts.com on trying to cover all different angles. Tomorrow and sunday there's going to be a lot of things to do for the Monday news such as giving out grades for teams, who we think was the biggest steal, the dumbest pick and who we think it's going to win ROTY. Go to scouts.com for complete scouting reports on players who have entered for the NFL Draft. oh GO KOLB! My feeling is that he will either be drafted by the Eagles, Packers or Seattle in the 2nd round. |
