I've been watching MLB for more then 15 years now and I haven't seen so many postponed games due to weather to start a season. Today 6 games were postponed, among the games are the Doubleheader between the Giants and Pirates, Astros @ Phillies, Angels @ Red Sox, Nationals @ Mets and Royals @ Orioles. And not to mention that the Indians had to go to Milwaukee to play a series against the Angels because it wouldn't stop snowing in Cleveland. It's amazing. La Nina? lol

If it's snowing how are you going to see A white ball? And if it's raining how are you going to grip the ball? Back then when they let them play in the rain, pitchers would hit the hitters all the time and that led to brawls so since then it's up to the umpire to decided when it's a good time to stop the game.

if you think fighting in hockey is there to amuse fans you know even less then anybody ever could have given you credit for but i really dont expect you to get it since youve never played the game and dont know fuck all about it to begin with

I'm not a hockey fan much less a casual fan but if there's one thing I know from casual fans are the fact that they go or watch a game for the fights, much like Nascar and the wrecks. Hell I saw an ESPN poll the other day asking fans wheter or not they should ban fighting from the NHL and the response was like 70% of them wanted the fights to continue and they had a forum to discuss it and the majority said that it's the only thing appealing to the game.

I'll find you that forum and poll if you don't believe me.

well no shit the fans want them to continue its got nothing to do with because they find it amuseing its because its part of the game and any idiot can realize its better to let player hit each other with their fists then with sticks

Oh, and I am a pretty casual hockey fan. I cheer for Detroit and Toronto when I see them playing, but I don't watch many games nor know who's doing what in the playoffs (besides Detroit spanking Calgary 3-1 today :woot:), and while fights are entertaining, I just like to watch hockey for...hockey. Yeah.

Are you trying to get banned? Bad enough Toronto because OS and I hate them to begin with but Detroit? That hatred runs deep and hard here. Him for Calgary and Chicago and me for Calgary and Colorado. So needless to say we are not to pleased with Detroit right now.

And honestly who cares about the Nats or Orioles or even the Pirates just give them the loss and move on. It was coming anyway, just save us all time and energy.

Actually if Pitt is playing the Giants the Giants would lose so give San Fran the loss. Same with the Phillies we all know they're gonna lose.

There I just solved 5 of your 6 postponments
