There's always been crazy weather man, that's the point. Obviously I'm not very old at all (or anyone else posting here) to know weather patterns from 40 or 50 years ago- But it seems the weather is always crazy and unpredictable. Global warming may be a fact, but if it is I believe it's a natural cycle- Not some human caused thing that's gonna end the world in five years.

But whatever, I'm just against the extreme hypocricies of many of those who say global warming will soon kill us all...

Well we're going to put "Global Warming" on the side because if there's one thing that we all agree on is the fact that we're going to have to face La Nina this year. Would it be worse then "El Nino"? Experts say that it would be.

What's the difference between the two?

Anyway, last year didn't La Nina or El Nino stop all of the tropical storms from last year? I just don't understand how at this time last year everyone was predicting the worst hurricane season ever with some storms possibly worse then Katrina yet absouletly nothing happend.

That just shows me that while scientists know some stuff, we don't have the whole story nor control of what's going on. But that's just me...

5 years? no. But our kids or grandkids will suffer the results of it.

Yea there has always been weird weather patterns but how come years back there was snow every year. I mean every damn year startin in Nov around here? Now we are lucky to see snow in Jan. And the pattern keeps pushin back little by little by decades. I dunno, just seems very plausable to me. But whatever, lets just ignore it (which anyone with power seems to do) and let the future deal with the issues :uhoh:

Creating cleaner outputs just seems smart even if ya dont believe in global warming. One of those "just incase it is true" type of deals

It's like my teacher said: "Most people even though they know it's true, they choose to ignore it or disagree with it because of politics and Al Gore's past"

And La Nina didn't exist last year that was just BS. This year? Yes it's been proven to be a fact, you see huge spots of warm waters in typically cold waters and you have cold waters in typically warm waters. Combine more of the two and add a storm here and there and that's your recipe for your hurricane.

Didnt say die, I dont believe its an overnight thing. But if things do warm then you got longer, hotter, more dangerous summers. Excessive bugs for that reason above which will in turn destroy crops. That leads to higher fuel prices (which will be bad enough). I just dont see why its so hard to see they way things are now is not gonna keep going fine and dandy. Do you honestly think constant pollution of the air is a good thing? Whats so bad bout tryin to cut back on it? Is it a bad thing to want a cleaner world or should we just shit on the streets now since it wont hurt anything?

every scientist out there disagrees with al gore. any REAL expert/scientist sais that al gore is bullshit and it is not gonna be a doomsday event like he sais. I think it should be illegal to be a democrat and you should be locked away for doing some of the shit they do

...As far as snow goes it's been pretty crazy (i.e. normal) for my area the past few years. While it started late for us this year we got sacked with two big snow storsm and then an ice storm. Heck, I remember the last blizzard we had was like 6 or 7 years ago in mid-March, we had like 7 ft. high snow drifts. :D

I don't have a problem with cleaner outputs or anything...It's the "Scare the shit out of everyone with anything that's availible" that I depise...err, hate.

It we have caused snow to be pushed back two months in its cycle and we are causing massive hurricane beyond belief, then...

to prove that global warming is some overhyped nonsense- you should read some newsweek magizines from the 70s. the concern was global cooling. They had all these charts, graphs and data that the world was rapidly cooling, and that the world was gonna freeze over and wed all die. they even thought about melting the polar ice caps. Now on their current charts, they have the temperature rising over the period of time they had it cooling. These democrats dont know what they are talking about, and no one should listen to ANY politician on a issue like this, because all you get is politics and straight up BS.

ford explorers did not end the ice age either

The ice age technically isn't over until the last bit of ice is gone, so technically we are still in an ice age. But let's forget about that for a minute and think about these recent weather anomalies. Let's start with the abnormal winter weather that much of America experienced this year, a mid winter freeze devestated much of the Southwests citrus crop. Meanwhile for the Northeast New York and Boston have been hit with snowfall averages well below what is to be expected.

Now weather anomalies occur all the time time, such as in 1816 dubbed the year without a summer. During that year North America suffered from a late season frost in May and snow even occured in June. Europe was hit equally as hard with food shortages and abnormal rainfall. That was caused by volanic eruptions.

There are many factors that can cause weather anomalies, such as volcanic eruptions, humanity, and even slight changes in the earth's tilt. Pinpointing this weather to one cause and one cause only is completely false and inaccurate. In essence it's a multitude of causes such as the human induction of CO2 into the atmosphere and the induction of ash into the atmosphere due to volcanic eruptions and the like. That's not to say that we as humans play a big role in climate change, because we obviously due, just how much is up for debate.

yes, naturally occuring things like the volcano at yellowstone could cause drastic and almost instant changes. pollution is not eating the ozone up as fast as they think it is, and the ozone is really nothing from programs ive watched.

but global warming is the craze, and they will push it until something else comes along

It was funny. Dennis Miller brought a magazine into Jay Leno's show from the 70's. I believe it was a National Geographic and they were reporting then on a Global Cooling and that everything was going to freeze and all the waters were going to become these huge ice glaciers and junk like that.

No, but after that I hit up the old google and I found articles about the "global cooling hype" that occured during the 70s. It was mostly sparked by democrats tisk tisk.

http://denisdutton.com/cooling_world.htm

also I have been studying weather for bout 7 or 8 years now, and just because you disagree with the global warming theory doesent mean that your some ignorant hick. Its a theory, and everyone is allowed to have a theory on how it happens. But people believe in al gore, which al gore dont care about the environment or anything, hes a politician, he was made to lie.
