I thought the movies and trailers were awesome. I imagine a lot of people won't get it and have no idea what a 60's/70's grindhouse theater is. That's why all the scenes involving sex were missing, because that's what happened to the movies that toured from grindhouse to grindhouse. The people at the theater would cut it out and save it for the private collection and tape the film together to send it off to the next theater.

There were so many little things that just made it great like how in "Death Proof" they were somehow at the same hospital with the same people from "Planet Terror" lol.

They're actually considering making this a franchise. "Machete" (lmao!) has already been greenlight as a direct to DVD movie and if "Grindhouse" does well enough, it will almost certainly be one of the movies in the sequel. Tarantino is considering making a kung fu movie as a sequel. There's really a ton of stuff they could do without it getting old (blaxploitation, cannibal exploitation, biker exploitation, ect). We already saw a Nazisploitation trailer with "Werewolf Women of the SS". lol

And any movie that has Bruce Willis making a BSG reference in it is automatically good- most people won't have even picked it up, but it's certainly there.

If you're thinking about seeing this movie alone...

DON'T

lmao

There were actually other trailers that didn't air- one by Tarantino about Swedish cowgirls (I'm not sure if it was even filmed, maybe we'll see it on the DVD) and another called "Hobo with a Shotgun" (it did air in Canada).

Some theaters and film festivals will show just tons of these oddball trailers, could you imagine 2 hours of off the wall stuff like that?! I think there was a collective "OWWW!" during the "Thanksgiving" trailer. lmao "Yep, it's blood alright."
