Before I can be amongst 70% people wearing Vince Young Jerseys into the stadium and booing the Texans :woot: There are still people that are so pissed off at the Texans organization for not taking either Reggie Bush or Vince Young and I'm one of them. The Texans organization is a lousy pathetic one and the number will show it. 30th out of 32 teams in scoring and are like 24th in defense. The offense has backpedaled and is so frustrating to have a team like this. I will go and cheer for Vince Young. Is time to express our opinion.

GO TITANS!! :woot:

Well I'da agree if it was only me but like I said 70% of the stadium will show their displasure. I mean Vince Young is getting better and better each week. David Carr is getting worse and worse each week. I mean just look at the teams that they were battling for the worst record last year: 49ers They've improved so much that they're in playoff contention. THE 49ERS!!!!! For crying out loud!!!!!!!!! The Jets too are making strides into becoming a better team, the SAINTS!!! too. The Packers and the Raiders are what they are. I mean the Texans aren't even an average team, they're a team that lacks competitiveness week in and week out. What else do I need to say?

Not Carr's fault he has a high school quality o-line as well.

If the Texans can improve their O-Line, then they can win some games. They haven't done too horrible this year compared to past seasons, they almost beat the Giants too. As for the worst teams of last year, the Saints picking up Brees (*cough*shouldbeNFCQBattheProBowl*cough*) Bush, and all their receiving weapons really helped them out for them. The J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets have been giving me a great feeling about the team this year. Everyone wrote us off at the beginning of the season, and now we're in the mix for the Wild Card. Mangini has really turned the team in the right direction. Even if the Jets come a little bit short of the playoffs, I'll be very happy about the progress the team made this season

For the first time in 4 years, the O-line has been the least of their problems. Should I name a list? lol Look I just hope they get their head out of their asses and draft Adrian Peterson out of Oklahoma. He's just going to be a stud and a great player. There's a rumor that Jake Plummer is most likely going to play for the Texans next year since he and Gary Kubiak worked so good together but I don't like the move. They can get a good quaterback like Houston's own Kevin Kolb who is projected to be taken in the early 3rd round.

They've improved though Brian. They have Gore as the RB, they've improved both in defense and offense and that's why they've shown improvement. Can you say the same for the Texans? No and you can't. The offense is the same as the previous years: A LOUSY OFFENSE. The defense seems to be the strong part of the team and that's not even good enough to compete. You asked how the hell did the Texans beat the Raiders with such passing yards? Well that's David Carr. Check his numbers, he's been getting worse and worse each week. A lot of hall of famers have said that you only get so many good talented players in the draft, and when they're available you can't pass them up. Reggie Bush and Vince Young are that, both as rookies have shown improvements in every aspect of the game whereas Mario is just taking his time and slowly progressing, well that's not good enough! You leave that for guys that were taken in the 4th or later rounds. Look like I said in another thread, the previous 5 expansion teams have all been above .500, all of them have made the playoffs and 2 of them have made it to their conference championships, one of them have gone to the superbowl. You know which team? The Carolina Panthers. The Texans have yet to achieve any of those things, I mean they can't even break above .500. They were about to in 2004 where they had the chance to go 8-8 and they had a big game against the Browns, a team that they should've beaten and what happened? The Browns beat them by a wide margin. It gets pretty frustrating and that's why a lot of people here in Houston are going to show their displasure towards the whole organization and they should be.

Don't the 49ers have the worst defense in the league? At least they did 2 weeks ago.

But don't be putting down Jake KB. He would be a good asset for the Texans if they can get a little protection. He would be a good starter for them to have while they draft a rookie and let him sit and learn for a year (something Denver should of done). Plummer had a Pro Bowl year last season under Kubiak and would of had another this year if Gary hadn't left. But with a big loss like that combined with a running game that lost it's best back in Mike Anderson and is now turning into a suckfest that you get when you put tiny backs on a slippery field. So when you take away the running game that team is not built to be pass oriented. If Houston can get Peterson and get Jake I believe that could help that organization turn the corner and become a viable threat next season.

Now don't get me wrong I don't want to see jake leave Denver but sadly it's gonna happen no matter how much I protest and I want to see him go somewhere where he will be properly utilized and Gary Kubiak did that. Houston has some good recievers and Jake has mobility that Carr doesn't and that can take some of the pressure off that offensive line. This could lead to them trading Carr to a team that needs a QB like the Redskins, so anything they trade to Denver could come from Washington and they lose very little and possibly gain a lot. Denver could go for that too because every big move they have made over the last three or four years has gone through Washington in some way from Champ Bailey to trading Ashlee Lelie to Atlanta and gaining a Skins' pick. Now as for what Denver could get from Houston I don't know, maybe a second receiver since as much as I love Rod Smith he is getting up there in age and I doubt he has much time left especially with a team that seems to be regressing, and Javon Walker can't do it all himself.

Skins dont need a QB, they need a whole damn team David. Carr would have the same issues. No line to protect him and a defense that lets the numbers run up. He might as well stay in Houston

we would call that a lose lose situation.

how about Carr goes to the niners and Alex Smith goes to the Dolphins and he brings rookie TE V.Davis and WR A.Bryant with him. now that would turn Miami into a team that could get to the superbowl.

Let's hope so. And look the bottomline is that when you're 5 years into the league and in this league where there's so much parity and not have one, ONE! .500 or above season pretty much tells you that you're a lousy organization.
