Yeah, that was something new. I guess they did it to speed up qualifying procedure. That would be cool if they did that every week. |

Boris will probably be racing in the best equipment he's ever set foot in. Let's hope he doesn't goof it up. And go Marc Goossens in the #90 car. |

Cars are divided into groups of 5 or 6 based on their practice speeds (HH, I think). The slowest 5 cars go first, then the second slowest set, on up to the fastest. They get to make about 4 laps and if they pit, they can't go back out. Fastest lap is recorded. |

me too. And I loved that qualifying procedure, I believe this is what Dale Earnhardt Jr had in mind back at Sonoma a few years back. I loved when Adrian Fernandez and Boris Said was battling for that pole. IMO they should use this format for all road courses races  |

kinda of. There was 9 groups of 5-6 cars, the groups were divided by the times they recorded on happy hour, the slowest ones went first and so on. Every car had 6 minutes to record a fast lap, and most of them were able to do 3 and some even 4. Some guys like Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Johnny Sauter only made 1 lap and they was done, other guys like the guy driving the 77 and the 90 ran 5 laps but they spun the car w/o hitting anything. I liked it. |

Of course in true cheap SOB fashion, only one of them is okay to look at. One to Boris's left looks like Uma Thurman on crack with screwed up teeth and the one to the right of the dark haired one is just plain ugly. |
