Erin Crocker finished 2nd, looked like she was gonna win, but I guess the dreaded aero push thought different. She had a very solid night. It'll be interest to see how she does once she has a few pavement races under her belt and next year in the NBS.

Eh, how EXACTLY did she lose?

Aero push. She could catch him and was faster, but she couldn't do anything once she was behind him.

it'll be even more interesting to see how she does when she gets to a series with other competitors who are on the same budget her "arca" team is.

i'm not doubting at all she's talented, as it's hard enough to finish a stock car race with such little experience (especially considering arca races end up being a crash fest because of all the inexperience of the other drivers...i saw one of the wrecks tonight that should've been a two car wreck but 9 other guys apparently wanted to join in)...but i'm not gonna have a parade because she wins a pole or finishes second in bill elliott's backup car, which alone is worth more than some of the entire racing operations of a bunch of the arca teams. i mean, when you're 3 mph faster than the next guy, i don't care how good you are, if the cars are anywhere close to equal, that doesn't happen. check the entry list...she's one of a handful who were lucky enough to be in a 2005 model of a car...and i doubt the others get direct factory support.

I agree. That's why I'm not all that thrilled about it. Look at any of the ditech cars that HMS fields, they always win in ARCA. I think the only thing this is saying is that she's a fast learner because of not being used to pavement at all.
