I want you to know, I'm not saying Tony meant to do it by any means. I agree with what you said. But, Jeff wouldn't have spun out if Tony hadn't hit him I'm thinking. That's what I'm saying.

Well, Jeff's rear bumper didn't hit Tony's front bumper.

when 2 cars are a foot apart at 140 +mph and the front car suddenly slows to 139 or 138 do you realize that the human body in incapeable of even reacting let alone being able to do something.. this isnt the freeway they arent going 40 or 50 mph at 140 mph do you realize how far the car travels in half a second

I'm not saying that he had time to react either, at least once he was that foot or so behind him.

No, Tony did what he was supposed to do. He was there ready to pass. To be honest, the camera angle was not very good at first so since I've heard that Jeff may have gotten loose and gotten out of the gas, rather than Tony just going up and punting him, then I don't have any bad words for Tony. He was just in a position where if that happened, it was over. If that's the case, the only thing I don't like is how Tony went a little too far with his interview. "Jeff just got loose and checked up and I was right there and there was nothing I could do. I'm sorry he got wrecked but I don't think he really should be putting so much blame on me. I didn't hit him on purpose and me hitting him was a bystandard of him lifting." That's all he had to say. I'm really not mad at Tony at all. Even when I thought he punted him I wasn't really mad. I was a little disgusted. It takes a lot for me to get mad at somebody and the person Tony is makes it pretty hard to get mad at him.

what upset tony was hearing gordons comments it had nothing to do with what happened on track gordon complained about the lack of give and take and all tony did was call gordon out on being one of the guys that are near impossible to get by

Well, whatever. It's done with. Tony and Jeff got the media so fucked up it's sad, Jeff's out of the top 10, and we're on to Pocono where hopefully that will be improved.

I was agruing with Aaron about making a "special" topic. I never agreed with the brake checking theory so don't know where you're getting that. I know Tony's not dumb enough to do that.

If I didn't make the thread, someone else (Probably Crip) was going to.

It was a little of both actually. It was right about where the bumper went from the back to the side.
