"But if somebody does something to Jeff it's always their fault."

You know, with that statement right there, he's being hypocritical.  Instead of just taking the blame for it and being quiet, he's got to make somebody else seem like the bad guy at the same time.

i dont see how its hypocrytical for him to say that i think if you place all the blame on the 20 your a bigger idiot then the so called fans that just get their info from the newspaper it was obvious the 24 was loose and was off the gas... but this is your precious jeffy involved so the other guy is automatically 100% wrong no matter what  been that way since ive known you why would i expect that tochange ... personally i dont think you could blame either one any more then the other

Tony just plain cut down like Jimmie was never there.  I don't remember seeing them hit again, but hopefully it was nothing major.

that was the final contact out of 3 laps of beating and banging if you were watching the live footage youd have seen that but of coarse all fox showed on the replays was that final bump were tony cut down on jimmie and i think what happened there was tony was so focused on jimmie since they had been trading paint he didnt relized that he had run up on the back of harvick and had to get on the brakes and it pulled him down into 48 im sure both of them were grinning ear to ear at the tight racing

it was obvious that the 24 was loose and had to check up i dont think tony was expecting gordon to be off the gas for as long as he was and he got in the back of him i highly doubt it was intentional.. avoidable?..maybe ... the thing that bothers me about it is if the roles were reversed it might have been mentioned 2 or 3 times during the race but it was tony so it was mentioned what seemed like evry 5 minutes, then when the 48 and 20 were bounceing off each other for 3 or 4 laps they took tight close racin and just showed the final contact over and over again when you could see they both hit each other equal amount of times and it was on from there for ol dw, the 20 never moved up off the bottom but somehow it was his fault that the 10 didnt have him cleared... i also think 90% of both their comments was just a game with the media the press eats it up when these 2 bump into each other and they both know it if you go back to the glen a few years ago htey were laughing and hanging out all weekend of the next race

Exactly

um NEWSFLASH! Tony is an aggresive driver  :o   please. I agree with the media thing but we all know one thing: Tony is an aggresive driver. now you might say that i'm trashing tony. well I'm not, THAT'S the reason I like Tony he's aggresive and has that tough son of a bitch mentality and that's what makes him great to watch. at first I was saying "what's the problem with Tony?" but that's the way he is, an aggresive driver. and that's a good thing.

i dunno the guy in the broadcast booth perfected agressive driveing but he seems to have alot of memory lapses while calling the races

DW is probably the dirtiest driver to ever come to the sport. What I hate about Darrell is he acts like he loves Tony Stewart and Tony is the best and all then when something happens that invovles Tony its automatically Tony's fault.

My take on this is. Jeff you can tell was loose and got out the gas and Tony was hard on it and just couldn't react. The Jimmie deal to me looked like Tony was mad at him or something, but I've just seen the replays of it. The Riggs deal you can see Riggs come down.

As far as I can see, Jeff didn't punt himself. If you hit somebody from behind, it's automatically your fault, in racing and in real life.

you can't take Jeff's comment too serious. he was frustrated; 3 bad finishes in a row and outside the TOP 10. everyone is making this a big deal when it isn't. like I told you: Tony is an aggresive driver and Jeff was frustrated. combined those two and you'll get EXACTLY what you saw yesterday. doesn't take a bright man to figure it out.

Yeah, I can't remember Jeff ever hunting a guy down to go take him out. I think people are trying to make this into something that isn't. Jeff and Tony both need to start clicking off top 10's to stay/ get into the top 10 and gain as many points as possible.

I knew the first time I saw Jeff's interview he was bullshitting the media saying that. Jeff is not that dumb. Not to mention, if he was dumb enough to punt Tony, after saying he would, I don't think Nascar would be too happy if something like that did happen. I doubt Jeff would be racing the next week.

You're wrong, Jeff is a lot more powerful than Harvick is. You can interpret that several ways, but I'm refering to ratings in this contex.

the laws of the road have no bearing on a race track anything you know about driveing a street car throw it away when it comes to racing the only thing thats the same i is 4 tires a sterring wheel and the pedels.. driving 80 down the free way and 200 mph on a race track arent even comparable.... and you can compare this incident with the 20 and 48 at phoenix and i do believe you were all full of excuses on why it wasnt jimmies fault so make up your mind based on what happened and not on who is involved because like i said earlier the only reason your craying this time is cause its your precious jeffy and you got blinders on when it comes to hms especially jimmie anf jeffy

Dude man you are a retard that knows nothing about shit. It doesn't take much to run into the back of someone. If they lift for whatever reason thats not your fault. If they come down on you thats not your fault. If your running up on someone on the street at 60 whose running 55 thats nothing compared to 200 and 195. Even though its only 5mph difference in both the closing rate is faster. The faster your going the faster the closing rate is.

I was agruing with Aaron about making a "special" topic. I never agreed with the brake checking theory so don't know where you're getting that. I know Tony's not dumb enough to do that.

Man, if you went and ran into the back of somebody, you would be the one in trouble. Unless you got a good lawyer that came up with some proof that the car in front of you did something that was an act to get you to run into them.

Mark listen to wtf is going on here. Jeff was LOOSE and OFF THE GAS. Tony was already back on the gas and had NO TIME TO REACT to that.
