Thanks DDrosback, I think I get it now, if you are correct. *please be correct, please be correct, please...*

So, say the min is 40 and the max is 60, I might have 45 (5-50+5) 55 but maybe you could have 40 (10-50+10) 60. So, I would be more mid pack but you would never be sure if you were going to win, or run like crap?

i dont see what so confuseing you will have x number of points to spend on the minium side and y number of points on the maximum side and obviously your minimum cant be higher then the maximum so its the exact same thing thats been done in season 1 only now your doing min and max and not just the max

Thats what I said...................sorta

Think of it this way everyone. Instead of 1 set of attributes we will need 2 sets. One for the min column, and another for the max column

Ok for example. Lets say the attributes for the min is 50. And the attributes for the max is 100. Those numbers are what you get to spread out over the 15 catergories

Example of sheet:
--------------------------Min--------------Max
Driver:
Aggression------------0------------------5 <-------- Notice the min has to be lower
Consistancy----------5----------------10
Finishing---------------30----------------60
Qualifying-------------5-------------------5 <--------but can be equal
Road Course---------3-------------------5
Short Track-----------2-------------------5
Speedway-------------0-------------------0
Superspeedway-----0-------------------0

Vehicle:
Areo---------------------5------------------10
Chasis------------------0--------------------0
Engine------------------0--------------------0
Reliability--------------0--------------------0

Pit Crew:
Consistancy-----------0--------------------0
Speed-------------------0--------------------0
Strategy----------------0--------------------0
____________________________________
----------------------------50------------------100

All you will need to do is fill out 2 sets of attributes and make sure the min is less then or equal to the max. Hope this makes more sense

That makes more sense. But if you can keep both sides the same, then there is still the chance that you can keep one area or whatever consistant, and I thought the point was that it would make the cars inconsistant?

Shhhhh, be quiet dude. This means that your attributes should still be useful.

there really hasnt been any dominent car in the cup series yeah the 81 has a big points lead but thats more from being the only one who never gets caught up in the wrecks

Exactly. Its pretty boring if you ask me. The Truck series is the best! I mean, look at the standings! I have just as many DNF's as the points leader has in top 5s!!! Thats crazy!! Yeah, there are some way in the back, but you got a great battle in the front. In the Cup series, its so equal that no one can really do anything. The 81 car is just gonna walk away with it all, and thats not very exciting.

i think its way better to have equil cars then have the same person win each week whats the point of keeping track if you know whos gonna win

But the same person doesn't win! We just had yet another first time winner! I don't know. Maybe its just that I'm doing better in Trucks than here, but I just think the Trucks has been more entertaining this season. But I'll be back in both, so hopefully they'll both be just as exciting next season.

Well if i made the 2 set numbers similar, ie 100 and 150 then yes you would still dominate. But they wont be that close. :)

there is no min for min and max for max (well i will have a cap but dont worry about that) Think of it as attribute set 1 (min) and Attribute set 2 (max)

So basically we give two numbers and our attribute for the race falls somewhere in between those two numbers, right? Or am I just confused as GTMC?

Yeah basically. the lower number if how bad you could race and the higher number is how good you could be in a race

I used to mess around with those on NASCAR Racing 3. LMAO I had Gordon's points at like a minimum of 150 (As low as it could go) and a maximum of 151.

I understand it a lot more than I did. All I want now is to get to the end of the season and test it out. Hopefully we'll get a few test races to put it to work before the season actually starts.
