CREATING AN ACCOUNT

If you are from another clan please include your clan tag in your user name (This must include your tag symbols, as there as no "display name" option. However, if you make a mistake, please contact forum admin to change your name. DO NOT make a new account)

Please limit signatures to 500x200

Any problems in creating an account please post details in the Forum Help board.

GENERAL USE:


1.
Although all members/users are encouraged to post anything they like, within reason, it is appreciated if threads are kept to topics regarding online game playing and clans, RID itself and Transformers material.

2.
Try to keep your posts relevant to the topic and please use discretion when posting or replying to posts. Spam posting is permitted in the PLANET JUNK board only. Any non-relevant/spam posts in other boards will be deleted and may result in your fourm account warning level increasing (see #10 for details).

3.
There will be a SINGLE thread in the PLANET JUNK board (‘FUNNY STUFF’) for anything of non-clan/TF picture/internet-link comedy value you wish to post and ALL posts of this nature should put here. Anything of this type that is placed under its own thread, without good reason, may be deleted.

4.
If your post is about a game the clan plays please make sure it is posted in the appropriate open board for that game, do not just post this in the General Board.

5.
When posting information please try and find an existing thread that may be related to that you wish to display, rather than starting new threads.

6.
Keep your posts as civil as possible; the forum is not there to use to insult other members/users. If you have a dispute with another member/user and wish to message them then use the Private Messaging option rather than sharing your posts with everyone. Anything that is deemed to be personally insulting or offensive will be deleted/edited along with any replies to the post in question.

7.
No pornography of any kind is to be posted. Keep it to yourself.

Do not post links to or ask for any game/application warez or cd keys. Your post/thread will be removed and you will be raised by 1 warning level without warning (see #10 for details).

8.
No advertising of any paid services is to be posted, unless this has been cleared with the Community Command first. INSTANT BAN IF RULE IS IGNORED!

9.
Because of the continued use of swearing on the board censoring is now in effect. Any attempts to override or bypass the censoring for offensive reasons will result in your account being raised to warning level 2 (see #10 for details)

10.
Anyone who continues posting offensively or in disregard for the forum rules will have the warning level of thier account increased:

Level 1: No action Taken
Level 2: Posts are moderated for a week (Level 2 is reduced to level 1, if person breaks no more rules for 2 weeks, following the week of moderation)
Level 3: Posts are moderated for a month (Level 3 is reduced to level 2, if person breaks no more rules for a further month, following the month of moderation)
Level 4: Person is banned from posting for 2 weeks/1 month depending on admin choice. (Level 4, reduced like level 3, but banner will decide on probation time)
Level 5: Depending on the severity of the warning.
i) Posts will be moderated on permanant basis
ii) Person will not be allowed to post at all

(Level 5, cannot be reduced, as anyone who reaches this point, cant be expected to behave enough and given the oppurtunity to start all over again)

While Level 3-5 are in effect if moderators deem any posts to be offensive or in disregard of the forum rules a TOTAL BAN will be effected.

The increasing and decreasing of warning levels are down to the Command Council decision.

RID MEMBERS:

1.
If your post is of a community-specific nature post this in the private boards so it is seen by members only.

2.
Please be diplomatic in a response to posts by members of other clans, even if their posts are insulting. If you are unsure on how to react then bring the post to the attention of a Command Member.

3.
The board Moderators are responsible for the maintenance of their own boards and must clean these once a month. Threads without any updates within the previous month should be deleted unless they are of some lasting importance.
