Well, this office is a little cramped. My god the place is over-flowing with undelivered recruitment TGs! Someone will have to help me deliver them all! But who can do that? YOU! To all Q102ers. Our region will die if we cannot increase our numbers. Recruitment is the primary aim of the new government. If you have never recruited before, now is ther time to start. If you're a regular, keep up the good work. Please, this is important. Simply follow the instructions in the "Recruitment Guide" topic, remembering to post the message "Recruiting" in the "Recruitment Coordination" thread. Use notepad to take note of the nations you're recruiting, then paste that into your post in the Recruitment Coordination thread. We need to either get all jingoistic or very competetive over this. Either way, recruit, recruit, recruit! |

Well, I have mod powers over their offices, so if you don't recruit, I will toy with you threads and forums until you do.
:D (joke!) I didn't really think about what I would do, as I was running for delegate at the time. lol However, you know me. You've seen what I've done so far. I'm organising the embassies atm. Also, I plan to make ambassadors stay active or they get sacked and replaced. I think or updates reach less thn half of the regions they're meant to. Frankly I don't think the Council will recruit. I know Bunnies, PC and LD have started, and that's greatly appreciated. I hope they keep it up. And of course Cruz, Zak and myself recruit most of the time. I'd love to see more people recruit. The problem is that Councillors are not punished for not recruiting. If me or someone else is granted the power to do this (perhaps the judiciary?) it'd be a massive improvement. So could everyone please do their jobs and stay active, please. It's not too much to ask really. It takes about ten minutes to recruit through the feeders, and there are perfect guidelines pinned in this forum. |

sorry JB I have got to do it. If councillors dont recruit there are punishments set in place. They loose their job after having a warning. If a councillor wont be able to recruit say for two weeks as they're away on holiday THEY MUST notify you, or the delegate. If they dont recruit after being warned, then they loose their job, simple as. I must say I got close to this point in the past. As far as the embassies go, the last couple of updates havent been making all embassies no, this is mainly because so many people who were ambassadors became less active (e.g. nev) or left (e.g. calm minds) however once you have re-assigned your ambassadors etc, then this should run smoothly. Sorry JB, but obviously cos this place was mine for so long I know a lot of the rules and stuff. I dont want to seem like I'm butting in, but I wanted to make sure you had your facts right ;) |

I know of the law, it's just that it doesn't seem to be enforced. And who exactly is meant to enforce it, me or the delegate, or does it have to be discussed by Parliament or by the judiciary? Hopefully the ambassador activity should be sorted out soon, but it's still hard to keep everyone active. I think I may have to be quite assertive in this. I would like to apologise for the overall pessimism of that last post. I think I was in a bad mood at the time. A lot more people do seem to be recruiting now, so the situation is not as grim as that post made it out to be. And you will never butt in Zak, you're criticisms, advice and comments will always be welcome. :) |

The I&O Councillor should advise the Delegate if someone has had their three strikes and the Delegate can then sack the offender. Although the Council as a whole ought to keep an eye on recruitment in an ideal world. If it is the Delegate it is more uncertain and there is no precedent on which to rely. If you feel the law needs tightening then by all means clearer guidance would be welcomed by the Court. Judge Nevareion |

Actually JB, I had a thought. Maybe it should become something for the court to decide (more function for thcourt, more transparent) with a sliding scale of penalties starting with a signature addition and increasing as time goes by before we get to firing people? That way it will be eaier to give a penalty as at the moment the consequences are so grave so quickly thano Delegate has wanted to fire anyone - it is hard to find good Councillors as it is! |

That's a superb idea. And I do agree that it should be the court that carries this out. :) |
