This is Pacifist Cowards, here with the oficial new stories that are breaking across the realm of Q102 politics. Firstly;

UOC reel under allegations of slander!
Posted Image
Here we see the disgraced member of the United Opposition Coalition Lamedud as he is brought before the High Court of Q102 for slander charges by the PPP. Lamedud, and his co-conspiritor Calm Minds. The Allegation stems from statements the two had made about a top level rift in the PPP government, something the party strongly denies. The victim of these allegations, Pacifist Cowards, had this to say:

"I was hurt and offended by the slanderous comments from the opposition. At first I was confused and angry, but then I realised it was a dirty trick, and I decided to press charges."

UOC spokespeople were unavailable for comment (maybe because we didn't ask).

In other news;

Pacifist Cowards is voted best delegate today by a recent poll!
All of the voters we asked outside PPP HQ admitted that they felt that PC's leadership today had been magnificent. One even went so far as to say "I love him!".

More on this story in tomorrow's edition.

Tomorrow's edition? It's closing in on a month, so much for up-to-date news from the PPP, huh?

This is the sort of slackness and inactivity we've come to expect from our government... -_-

Well, have you considered that while the UOC is finding increasingly ridiculous stories to run, the PPP are actually doing their JOBS? Y'know, running the region and all that? Doing the stuff we're PAID to do? Let us get on with running Q102 and we'll let you get on with commentating.

(OOC: thats a purely IC comment, i personally love the VoP and its amusing stories - keep up the good work!!!)

Indeed! well said bunnies. The PPP dont believe on reporting make believe facts unlike our humble opposition. Why waste our time forming make believe stories when we could get on with doing what we're here for, ruinning the region!

I wonder when the opposition will take a leaf from our book??

(OOC- :P love ya)

The Fresh Approach to Politics

Today the deputy First Council Person, Zakaroo officially announced that Aaronyne would be replacing munster as foreign affairs councillor. This once again means all government positions are filled, with all offices remaining active. This new appointment signals a fresh start for the PPP as its the first official appointment PC has made since taking the reins in January. We hope that this will be the first for many new appointments for the PPP as our supporters continue to grow!

Support for the PPP continues to grow!!

Whilst the PPP is already a established party, we are always looking for new members and in the last week or so, we have not only welcomed Bunnies back to the PPP on a official basis, we have also welcoomed Valaron, who has decided to join the PPP after reading our pledges and talking to some of the Councillors. This obviously shows that the ideology behind the PPP is a strong one, as new members are keen to join and get involved!

We hope to welcome more people in the coming weeks too, for further information, PM PC or myself  ;)

Hey, I understand you guys have a region to run, but when you guys say "It'll be done tommorow." The people expect it done tommorow. You've got to keep your promises, or you're voted out of power.

I would like to remind the PPP that they are always welcome to bring a Slander case if they feel the UOC is making stuff up ;)

You've got to keep your promises, or you're voted out of power.

And yet evidence to the contrary is everywhere you look, both here in Q102 and in RL.

The PPP don't claim to be perfect. We know we're not. But we do our best, which is all anyone can ask for, and - as no one has complained yet - this is evidently sufficient for the general populace.

The UOC may promise more, but until you've been tested then no one knows if you can/will keep your promises. Don't criticise the PPP unless you KNOW you can do better, otherwise you run the risk of being branded a hypocrite later on.

The proof will be in the political pudding.
