It's bipartisan. There are several government positions (see Councillor's offices) and people vote for the delegate/party. The delegate then appoints his/her councillors. We also have four judges that are completely separate and not to do with parties and parliament. I can't think of anything else? Can anyone else? Or do you have any other questions 2000AD? |

From Nev himself. What do we think? Could we win an election now? Do we have enough support? I'm not sure we do, and I think we could have enough support given a few weeks. However, if we did win, it'd be damn fine. :D And it is awfully tempting. I wish the PPP would get their finger out and do somethign though. You can't suggest a thing like this and then take weeks to decide a delegate and to ratify your proposal. We need to know how the coalition will work and we need to know now. Or tomorrow. But no later. |

I only doubles posted because the two posts were on different subjects, which I thought was an allowable reason for double posting. Am I wrong? If so, sorry, I genuinely thought those were the rules. |

It would be better if you merely left a line space in your post or put brackets in it, eg; (To JB)Don't double post please (To Zak)Well spotted |

Okie dokie. Duly noted. Also, I've been meaning to suggest for a while that party forums should be password protected, as I've noticed they are in most regions. I'll post this suggestion in the Tech and Mod forum. I just thought I'd mention it here. |

Sorry Wasn't aware of that rule and will in future comply. Is there a thread with the forum rules? |

Yup: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Q102/index.php?showforum=18 And this is a general guide to the region: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Q102/index.php?showtopic=1164 Wow I've never read half of that. I shall do now! Plus there are some more specific rules pinned to the Tech and Mod forum. |

Well, I am planning to run. I thought I'd announce it here first. I don't know who else is yet. I like the idea of it being non-partisan though. It should be interesting to see a wider range of platforms that candidates will run on. edit: Another issue the party neds to decide on is thus: should this thread be moved into the protected forum? If yes, we need to start a policy discussion thread in the unprotected area, for possible members to see if they like our party, and copy and paste several bits of policy info. from here into that. If no, we can start a tactics discussion thread inside the protected area. Tbh, the second is less work, but tactical discussions from this forum will remain viewable to anyone. And please confirm you all got the password. Cheers! |

Buh.. Uh yes I think the tactics thread should be moved, as long as we leave a signup/clear outline of our policies thread in political affairs! I gots the password as well. Welcome back Peachy you old muppet. |
