Hey, I just figured to be the last say for the voice of morality. Seeing as we have no other choise, we have to do it (God save us, like he cares...) |

You ever see the Futurama where Bender meets God? God: So where you from? Bender: Earth God: Where? I love that. It's genius! What does everyone think to letting ambassadors vote and join political parties? Regardless of how it may or may not benefit us, I think it's a good idea. Maybe we could suggest it for a vote? But I'd like to hear all your thoughts first. I'd quite like to hear Nev's view on this too. |

Hmm. The main problem we have with voting and stuff is the fact that there isn't enough (or any?) active people outside the parties to vote - no 'general public'. Therefore we have to win a majority with party numbers. (which is what JB is saying) The ambassdor idea might work, but come on. Thats only what.. Tag? TARGET OR DIE! |

See the anoncment Zak put up? This could work in our favor. If the two parties combined temporally, then we could try and convine some PPP members that our view is the better one without seeming dirty, because there isn't at the time a party to switch over to. But when the parties split again, then we'll have more people. I'm in favor of the merging (sp?) parties idea. |

Rather than merge party ideas, I say we put our differences to one side for now. Our differences are on issues that can wait. I have some reservations about this coalition thing. But I'm willing to put them aside if it helps the region. I shall post in the appropriate thread that we support the coalition as soon as I hear LD's views. I don't want to go ahead without your supprt dude. Also, ambassadors: Tag, Parrrtay, New Caldari, (is Feeniks?), Dipes. They are all active ambassadors. I don't think the merge should continue after the election either. I have a feeling in my stomach that it could destroy our humble party and return Q102 to the one party system before. So let's emphasise the "temporary" nature of this thing. And elections better be soon. And we should get to knwo who the new delegate is soon. |

I can vouch for 2000AD. He'll be a fantastic member. I welcome you aboard, as I'm sure we all do. You are aware of the temporary coalition governemnt yes? Would you like a shadow position? |

Wow! Thanks for the fine words I hope I earn them. Yes I've just read of the Temporary Coalition. That is good advise. Can you direct me to some relevant threads with the set-up of Government etc.. As for a Shadow position? What would this entail? |

2000AD, Minister for Hospitality and Minister for Foreign Affairs remain open. Foreign Affairs Minister manages embassies, improves international relations, and a whole load more methinks. Hospitality Minister takes charge of welcoming new members, managing certain forums, and somehing important that I've forgotten. Shadowing involves challenging your Minister and working witht them to improve and build on any ideas relevant to their department. As we are a friendly region, we don't like stuff to get too bitter and we're all friends, hence we work together most of the time. It's not like the GRA!
:D Don't feel pressured about shdow roles. It's not too important right now, what with the Coalition government and so forth. And you are an old vet BT! hehe. |

Republic of Aaroyne. In the new coalition structure, you'd be working with him even more directly. I suppose it's sort of like a secretary or deputy minister role we'll have now. But come the election, you could be the full Foreign Minister. Scratch that, will be! :D |
