Thanks for answering that. I do have another; It could be suggested that you are the most inexperienced candidate standing. Nevareion obviously has been here since the beginning, and has a vast amount of experience, and (although we havent had a manifesto from the other party, they havent informed me that they wont be standing.) lamedud also has vast amounts of experience. What makes you different, in your personality? Your manifesto is solid and you propose some good things, but for those looking for more, what makes you different? |

well maybe the fact that i have little experience (well i wouldnt say that little, ive been here a good long while) that i am open to fresh ideas, or not influenced by old opinions or grudges, like with the RLA incident, some quoted it as a good defending move, but I, as an inexperienced player, had a moral clear view of the incident, whereas some people may have been otherwise influenced!! |

To my proposed program as a whole, specifically represented by the ideas for legislation and foreign policy objectives such as seeking new alliances and being more involved as a way of increasing the activities available to member nations of Q102 On your last answer to Zak, well said. However do you think experience exludes having a clear moral view of this incident or do you mean particular experience (such as being an invader or defender)? I would agree that you have been here some time and do have good experience of regional affairs even if you lack knowledge of inter-regional events. Lastly, feel free to question me in my manifesto thread on my policies as well :) |

well I think that joining more alliances could lead to some sticky situations, so I am against, but I am always for setting up new embassies. And I dont think having experience clouds peoples judgement I just think that it may cloud some peoples judgement.
And you are going to wish you hadnt said that :D |

Why do you think alliances could lead to problems and what do you think the effects of an isolationist policy could be? Feel free. Otherwise the election gets kinda quiet :D |

well i feel that if we create new alliances with a region, and they say get involved in some sort of IP war, or whatever happens in the Ns world, then our region, being so small, could become severely affectes, even annihalated, which obviously isnt a good thing, I am not saying that all alliances are this way, just that this is what could happen. And I am not saying become isolated, I am saying to avoid being caught up in situation that we don't wan't to get caught up in avoid alliances, but nonetheless, still open embassies etc. and keep foreign affairs at the forefront of our policies |

Interesting. Do you think the fact that we are one of the top one hundred or so regions in terms of size makes a difference to your assessment? Also can I propose an alternative and equally likely scenario: We join alliances, we become more involved, there is more to do in the region, activity climbs and the region grows. I am not saying that all alliances are this way, just that this is what could happen. In the last period of Parliament the Coucil has turned down no less than four offers of alliances and previously the proposed alliance with the ASE faded to nothing and as a result we no longer have regular contact with any of the regions concerned. How would you persue:
without it leading to the dead embassies and lack of involvement that our experience indicates goes with the very neutral position? |

I accept that alliances can bring more activity and make all things rosy, but some could lead to destruction!! I think we need to have a very careful balance between, having alliances and not |

I'd like to say, that as we are a large region, foreign policy is important. What's your stance on the Free Port issue? Would you keep the alliances we already have? Secondly, what would you do when faced with the inactivity "crisis" that has been an issue recently? Thirdly, where do you see Q102 in the future? |
